Why post here if its an in-guild problem?

"Talk to GM to sort it out in private"... what is the GM supposed to do? Use the /gc givstolenmoneyback command? The only thing he can do is boot the thief out of the guild, and if he's the kind of player who'd steal 4 plat, why would he care about that?
If someone wants to be a griefer, that's fine, but they should have to live with the consequences. If Teheron wants to steal 4 plat from a guildmate then he should have to deal with the entire realm knowing that he stole 4 plat from a guildmate. Kick him out of the guild immediately, don't group him, don't heal him, don't res him, don't help him. And if he rerolls and you find out the name of his new character, publicize that too.
