I know your name was always very appropiated in OF when it was "Oh no! Thefeared shooting me too, ruuunnn before Scouse Feathers Aim Tip and the rest of the AMG-crew is on me".

However lately I've seen an interesting phenomena: I see Thefeared run in fear everytime HE attacks me. Or when I attack him; it hardly makes any difference. Overlooking my last week logs for your name I see you landed 7 successfull slams on me, 9x a shieldtrip and not on one occassion you decided to fight. Its merely: Uncover! Run to closest docks/keep/tower.

While such a game is entertaining for say 2 hours; it becomes pretty boring if its all you do. Atleast; I would guess that.

I know MoS5 is cool for uncovering; but atleast use the MoS5 to check if there's any allies in the neighbourhood to help you; the routine of uncovering me; see you're gonna loose when u style for 59 on me and I hit you back for 200+ mainhand then run blowing all possible active RA's you got just to reach the Saracen Tracker or the keep must be silly; even in your book.

I admire your skills as pure archer; without a doubt you're one of the best archers against people already engaged in combat. Stick to that; dont try to engage combat yourselves; it only gets ya killed

In short: Stick to what you do best: Leech and add

So many times i wonder just why people play this game.. You can camp a spot for hour+ and not see a single person when you finallly encounter someone and get em out of stealth alot of people about 50% i would says decides to leg it.. comeon its a GAME your suppose to fight.. this phenomen to leg it started some time around this summer and im seeing more and more of it.. rangers do it, and ns to and infils, scouts and offcaurse minstrels.. used to be only minstrels that leg it with SoS but now it seems that every single fool in the game has to leg it.. and THOSE telling me to snare or stun in the back, i DO it just doesnt help that much with persons really decided to flee using end potions, water potions etc jumping into water etc etc etc... Oh just rememberd that people started fleeing a few months before this summer to (but that was when you hit em with arrows) they just turned and ran the other way now people that are being taken into straight melee choose the flee option...

And tbh spinesprout STFU about him leeching and adding MR I ONLY TS when FG HIBS AROUND.... :wub:

Hehe, don't I recognize that? Happen to win against his group and there are a thousand outside factors that affected the fight, but if his group wins it's "nice fight, m8, and nice try!"

90% of the grps out there are like that.

If they win : excellent fight, but our superior skillz determined the out come of the fight of course!!!
If they are eating the grass: omg fooking [insert appropriate stealther, random, fg whatever here], overpowered [insert some random class here], our RA's were down, omg u used moc newb... and the list goes on. Simplified: excuses, amusing ones sometimes, some unique diamonds: Grp-leader was afk, CC-dood's monitor blown up, dog wanted to go out, LD etc

You guessed it, both are RR7.

And Septina; I dont mind him leeching and adding; not at *ALL*.

But you gotta admit its silly to run up to me (with camo), slam me.. I look around who is it, Its Thefeared. He does some fumbling around with his bow; does about 200 dmg during slam, I run up, he runs.

Hence repeat about 5 times in 2 hours.. Now that is silly. If you choose to attack me; atleast try to make it a fight. Running back to the Saracen Tracker aint gonna give you anything

I dont know Oldfarid; prolly some hunter under another name, but come in #prydwen.stealthers on IRC at my play-times and you can have a 1 vs 1 no problem.

Not as if he's the only one who does this, loads do it, since way before NF too. Had people waste true sight to shoot me and just run away without actually causing any damage on me.

Ofcourse it's slightly more amusing when you have a shield


If you want to know why he runs, it really is quite simple. Most scouts are simply shit. They think being a scout means nothing but being able to do damage with a bow (which you can practically do without speccing it if you really want)and completely neglect anything to do with melee and therefore such at it. Personally i see that as a failure as a scout but that's just me xD

Gotta agree there, being an E&E shouldn't really be relevant. Just because he is one, doesn't mean hes not entitled to his in game opinions. So long as in game conflicts don't affect his conduct as an E&E (doing E&E things) then I think its fine.

Precisely. Derric tries to find all sorts of straws to 'flame' me more or less; because my opinions about him (and his guild mostly) where not always as positive as he likes to see.

The fact I helped countless of times Alb/Pryd players on a ML-raid including PE-players on a stuck ML7 raid is ofcourse totally irrelevant; but the fact I make a posting about SOMEONE on Prydwen makes it totally impossible to do such things.... riiiiiiiight xD

Your ranger can pretty much take any solo stealther 1 vs 1 and come out with a victory. It would be stupid to stand and try to even melee you with your DW and hitting for like 250+ per swing, and we do 120+ if we're lucky and have at least a decent amount of spec points in thrust or slash.

I think it's rather smart to do what he did.
He unstealthed you with slam (knowing the amount of Alb stealthers there are) he maybe thought someone would help seeing as solo he probably doesn't have much of a chance vs a ranger with Dual Wield and 3(!) strenght relics.
Then when you got unstunned ran because once again he knew he was no match vs you in melee, not bad if you ask me as I also rather run away then give an enemy "free" Realm Points.
I try to run from rangers all the time at keep battles but a bit hard when they hit you got 900 over and over again and theres atleast 10-15 of them at each keep/tower fight and you can bet they all having an /assist macro.

Well this one time i killed 2 rangers in melee, a rr8 mincer called evita added, i got her to 20%hp in a few swings, she IP'd and Sos'd thru some agro mobs, tried to mezz with 3 mobs hitting~ and then gave up and ran to apk.../breathes in
