After many months of moaning about the Alb zerg, I now realise how it happens.

The HIB zerg is taking it's form, you just can't help it, someone shouts
'Mids on bridge' and we all run, it may be 1 it may be 20, no-one knows till you get there, so that 1 Middie it was is saying
'FFS!!! 20 of em for just me!!!'

What is it with Hib bridge, does no-one ever fight there?

Hibbies seems to favour crossing the river between hpk and mpk and then move towards mb. I guess they look for some lonely mid to smack first.

Well.. I duo with bard (Olenko) And i play with blademaster (whoam)

We dont really move with mainzerg, and we try to make fair 2vs2 fights. Ofc if there are 5 fg mids we attack to em with zerg etc. But still our main mission is hunt soloers or another duoers.

And we arent met lot of duoers or soloers which are killed us.

We both have full sc (oc) etc. but still :p

Think I met you two on the hill near atk (Im onethreethreeseven the big troll skald), hardly an amazing achievement beating soloers in a duo but nice to see you running away from the zergs :)

We split our ~2fgs to one at HB and one at AB yesterday ..
made a pincer movement kind of thingy and then approached
mids from their smelly troll and bone posteriors :D

We err 'won'. ofc I died and some mids went into CK but you know .. gotta keep a lookout for little victories.

All in all the plan worked alot better than

Plan A) swim to ck and fight at the shore (and get wiped)
Plan B) stand on AB till hibs mez us from behind, Mids get their
courage up and aggro from the front (and get wiped)

As you can see plan C involves more movement, a little suspension (will group 1 be still around by the time group 2
makes it over the bridge, and "wonder which jarl's gonna nail
me from the keep") and a whole lot more fun.

When thid was first opened HB was the main action area, then players started raiding the keep and MB became a focus point simply because the keep doors face MB, thats the only reason.

Whoever had the keep isnt going to hang at the side of the keep opposite HB or even AB bcause they can't see the doors and more importantly, cant see who's hammering on them or hop inside the keep quickly via the gatekeeper if zerged.

This follows that the ck owners hang at the gates, which face MB, so the other realms approach from MB so they can see who's at the keep but still be out of bolting range and not stuck in the water where movement speed is reduced if they need to retreat or charge.

Albs cross the water directly to the CK as the steep banks hide them from the enemy, if you cross from hib side over the water you can be seen all the way from the gates and will die.

So hibs have to either cross via HB which is exposed, and you have no idea what awaits you at the keep gates, or go MB.

Simple innit.
