Ello all..


this weekend thx to the sexy /lvl 20 cmd me and 2 buddies joined alb on pry

Now we joined to see what bg1 rvr was like from alb point of view so we begged 10 silver and got our way to the bg1 pad (was a bit packed) ported buffed and left (pretty buffs btw)

so we ran to ck from apk all was well joined the chat group (all nice chaps) and sat at CK

"mids at mb" says the cg
and then it started =) never seen such a rush of rp hungry people eveyr mid was blasted 80 times it was unfair outnumbering em helped a lot :) so back to ck ..

"hibs at hb"
Off we go again ...2fg hibs dead..job done

this went on and on and basically after about an hour and nearly 120 rps we left in boredom ..

this isnt a moan about the zerg ...but damn me its just so boring there is No challenge...i laughed at reports of solo albs being killed by hiob stealthers as they came out of apk =) but they didnt last long as the zerg moved and found em :p it was "fun" for a while but the mentality of it just didnt appeal to me or my buddies so we came back to hib excal made 1 bard and 2 voids and legged it round bg1 doing what dmg we could to keep the hib end up =)

all the albs at ck was kinda unfair if u left u could of had good fighst ..maybe 1 fg stay mb one fg stay hb =) give everyone else a chance


any way that was pry but it looked same as here but maybe i got the albs on a bad day =)

one thing i will say they were very well organised cg was zero spam

maybe =) but all seemed to be well run to me but would be interesting to see how albs do given even numbers

in my experience normally badly (like hibs)

make an fg and run around with it, ofc its hard to avoid the alb zerg (even if you are an alb yourself) but doable. Hibs not really coming to bgs (can understand them as a hib on prydwen), they dont have the numbers for it (/who thidranki 40+ alb usually, zzz). Also thidranki is so small, can run between the 2 zerg points easily (mpk - mb - ck). Cg is a waste usually (experience after 2 thid chars on exc/alb), every noobfiltrator or /level 20 blue con dead somewhere crying for a rezz, even when only 1 cleric in thidranki, who got his grp to keep alive lol. But as i said, you can have nice fights if you dont stand in one place and run around in thid. ( at least we did yesterday )

The organisation on prydwen is a lot better than that here, simply because that server (being the unofficial roleplaying server) attracts more mature players.

Albion/Excal is a completely different story, they rarely even have a cg.

Do we rarely have a cg? Strange that cause it's very rare I haven't been in one. But obviously you know better.

I don't even bother with the cg tbh. As someone said, you get reports or mids or hibs at <insert location> and by the time you've got there they're already dead.

Depends who you play with.

There are both good players and twats on both servers. There are only more twats on Excal because there are more people. The 'twat per capita' is about the same.

I totally agree.
I never really join a cg in Thidranki because i hate the spam of HEAL / MEZ / REZ / BUFF / INCOMING / HELP etc etc etc

I like to go off alone and take out the people that aren't pay attention of the Hunters/Rangers/NS's/SB's that are alone or a distance away from there group. If i die fair game i'll release and come back, its only 10 silvers and a few minutes wait for rez sickness to go.
