Ladies and Gentleman, and female firbolgs, welcome to this year's annual presentation of the STRONDOR awards. Competition has been fierce but all the votes are now in and the results, as voted by the good people of Excalibur, are as follows...
1) "THE MOST CHEERFUL PLAYER TO HAVE IN A GROUP AWARD" goes to......... Eliva!
I have no idea who you are, but it seems that's my loss. Please accept these additional complimentary prizes of 2 fluffy pom-poms from our friends at www.cheerleadesRus.com.
2) "THE MOST SUICIDAL PLAYER WHO JUST WON'T STOP KEEP COMING BACK FOR MORE GRASS AWARD" goes to..... Outlaw!
Outlaw cannot be with us tonight as there wasnt enough room in the dressing-room backstage for the 40+ zerg that was following behind him
3) "THE BEST MEDIC AWARD" goes to.... Well in fact there was a tie between Redhdwitch, Ufrot, Cullyn and Herbal. Even during the finalists' heal-off at emain last night between all four, none of the contenders were able to complete the unenviable task of trying to save the life of Outlaw within 3 seconds of a fight starting and so all 4 will share the award.
4) "THE BEST TANK AWARD" goes to.... Another tie... between Wuren and Laralyn (both from Hibernia, the realm famed for Melee over Magic, oh wait , that can't be right, ..must ..resist..urge..to whine......ahh that's better)
Neither Wuren or Laralyn could make it here tonight to collect their awards as both lacked sufficient Int to find their way here..
5) "THE BEST STEALTHER AWARD" goes to...... Alpha!
And here to collect the award is Alpha himself.... Alpha? .. Alpha?... Argghh! I'm mezzed...Argghh i'm stunned!... Call security!.. Dammit he's SOSsing away!! Grrr, one day Alpha!.. One Day!!!
6) "THE BEST NUKER AWARD" goes to... Tyka!
Tyka had offered to come and collect the award in person, but there's no way i'm letting that pyscho within PBAE distance of me!! Tyka, your award is in the post!
7) "THE BEST MEZZER AWARD" goes to...... Another tie between Miss, Grymulv, and Fearmast.... All three were invited to come and collect their awards tonight but Grymulv was killed on the way here when he caught himself on a rusty nail and his cloth / paper armour distintergrated (Must..resist..urge..to.. whine!....ahh ..it's ..passing), and I was unable to physically hand over Miss's award as she just kept running around in circles at high speed like a blue-bottle fly in a jam jar! So, this year's award goes to Fearmast!
8) "THE MOST ANNOYING MOB AWARD" goes to... Well there was stiff competition between Ellylls, Goblins, Hillock Changelings, Strondor, and Alpha, but in the end there could only ever be one winner under this catagory.... Bleeders.. No, not the ones in Darkness Falls, but the horde of grey ones that hang around bindstones pm'ing you with "Could i have some gold please, sire?!
9) "THE BEST SUPPORT PLAYER (MEDICS EXCLUDED) AWARD" goes to.... Thanatlos the Warden. I tried to present his award to him but that goddamned overpowered PBT kept getting in the way! (Must..resist..urge..to.. whine!....ahh ..it's ..passing)
10) "THE BEST BUFF BOT AWARD" goes to .... Graveworm! Graveworm was invited to come collect his award alone and in the middle of emain bowl, but for some reason declined...
11) "THE MOST HONOURABLE ENEMY PLAYER AWARD" goes to.... Another tie.. between Talivar and Alpha!
A tie-breaker duel was organized last night between the two but Talivar lost before it started when he was ganked by a fg of albs whilst standing and waiting for the duel in broad daylight in the wide open of the Gorge!
Alpha cannot be here to collect his prize tonight as he ironically has to buff bots now (with talcum powder! Gratz on the baby boy Alph! )
12) "THE KINDEST PLAYER AWARD" goes to... Another tie!..Between Aruen, Kantz and Talivar.
When all 3 were invited to duel it out for the award, they each suicided and insisted it be given some grey noob beggar who we'll probably never see again !
