The RR from the albs

k i must say the albs planed the RR good

but if we see that there is a RR we must grp faster

so instead of a fire dril we can make a RR dril and see how fast we can grp and head out
if there is a RR attemt of the Albs and Hibs that is

whine inc, its not easy defending against a ninja raid and its only one realm that can pull that off and they have done it 2 times as far as i know

mids and hibs can do it perfectly well you only need 3-6 sbs who can build rams im pretty sure midgard can get that, as for ninja and login raids pls do look to your leader ardramel who started it all off

Yes we can do Ninja raids, but albs excell at i.

With 2 classes to climb walls, one of which has a ranged attack that can draw aggro out to perhaps the best aggro controller in the game if used as such (Paladin) which can make it more difficult to detect a raid, if they just controll the aggro and don't kill.

And for getting out again with the relic one of the same greath classes got the best option there aswell with their speed and SoS cabability.

Now it was a fast raid and well organised. The question is did you need the keeps ? Personally I doubt it.

Did you need to bash the 2 front doors down not really IMO you could have used a couple of minstrals to just SoS em out to a non aggroed grp and you where home free. But of course it looks nice when all doors are broken

spread healing should be used to draw npc agro off ram builders, i could happly do the raid without using minstrels building rams infact out of the 9 only two where minstrels. Didnt need sos at any point as id parked 16 fgs of albs at amg.

As for nocking all 4 doors down i wanted the front two down incase tower defence killed all my ram builder including the back up ones the 4th door was done by albs waiting for a repop of mids at the relic keep

True i didnt need the keep but if u read my sig you will find i had a motive for it

Why use minstral's to build rams a waste imo of potential, they can stand on wall and draw aggro away from infils with their ranged attacks, and then jump out to a peeler instead. Spread heal is a nice bonus then.

With minstrall's as relic carriers you could have made a conveyer belt from relic room to aggro free carry grp outside when 3rd door was down. But hehe when you got all the albs numbers behind you I guess brute force is easier

Hehe the sight of hundred of albs at Odin's Gate was a sight to behold indeed.

on the subject of so called "ninja raids". Im fed up with constant whining about class dfferences between realms. Albion have advantages with some characters but so does midgard and hibernia, we all have our strengths and weaknesses and mythic constantly strive to balance and improve the game as much as possible.

The "Ninja raid" can be used by all realms and is a skill we as albs have come to hone.

on the subject of "login raids". the sight of 500+ albs rumbling through Odins gate to moljnr will always spark a massive effort by midgard to defend thier relics which is fair enough. By using login in tactics ALL realms can spring a relic raid by suprise, which increases the success rate massively. Dont give tell me midgard and hibernia dont do login raids because they do as well as the infamous 6am raids that midgard seem to enjoy.

You basically lost out to a well organised massive show of strength from Albion. Its nothnig to be ashamed of or to whine at just take it on the chin.

Well done to Herbz, Lac and Methos for a well coordinated strike.

and remeber the time of Albion being the weaker realm on excaliber is over.

Minstrels shouldve been killing the master runies and defending the side gates from inside.

True minstrel/infils where told to keep agro off the ram builders but as always when grouping the ram builders with clerics spread healing there isnt much/any agro on them.

tbh it was Midgard's fault we lost the relics, my group got wiped at the Yroads near bled by the 3fg of albis that was holding that area. When i /released and we started to regroup at Svausd there were still 4-5fg of people looking for Savages/Healers/Shamans.

Albi's didn't do anything too lame, they could have done their raid at 4am or somthing like that. Then we'd had no chance. I think we probably could have stopped them if people had just filled their groups and rushed to the AMG (apparently people were still running to Mjoll after the relics had been taken.)


Also as a side note, i don't know if their actually fixed yet. But i think Guten and the handful of others who stayed behind at Mjoll and worked on fixing the doors should get a big thanks from everyone. People's like you's keep the realm ticking

imho it was a well planned raid by herb/lac, the numbers they got were huge, only thing i have a gripe with is ninja raids.

But too get 400-500ppl organised and take relics does deserve a thumbs up

Aye, Albs did a great job at this, no doubt about that.

This "fotm"-problem (people still looking for healers/shammies/skalds long after the Call to Arms was issued etc) did not play that big a role in this I think. The main problem seemed to be the shortage of leaders really. Murphys did his job splendidly, but most of the Mids had no idea where to go. I was in a randomgroup atm, listening to both /as and Cattebrie's cg, and we didn't get any clear orders until it was too late. There were lots of suggestions so the forces split and about half the force never made it to the right place in time sadly. Seeing the Albs had about 400+ people I guess it wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway, but still...

And most of all a GJ to Herbal and Lac for the good raid. Can't speak for the rest of you Mids but I had a blast at least... this proves that primetime-RR:s are still possible, which should bring a renewed element to RvR.

It was one of the nicest done rrs I've seen, tho ninja-raids are still a bit

Not everyone waited to get an ideal group; many did run off in 1fg, or 2fg... and got farmed by the Alb's who'd been sent to block the BKs (and doing a good job of it)

Last night was fun, although a little chaotic

It gave Sarumans Hand the chance to claim the first of many frontier keeps, and get our smaller members some much needed rps and experience.

problem is with realm defence its always the same guys out defending/retaking keeps while others prefer to stay in emain letting others do all the work,maybe now they lost the str relics and thier bonus they will be more interested in defending the frontier...


as for hibs/mids doing ninja raid on a relic its highly unlikey as we have 50% less stealth class players on the server......

said it before and ill say it again you only need 6 builders who can climb, even hib pryd use ns on the 3rd door so u can cut the whine about not being able to do it

I totally agree on this. Maybe everyone thinks albs like zerging but I can assure a lot don't and those lot you will hardly see in RvR or either rolled a solo class. When alb zerg is out the real 1 FG RvRers hardly find any enemies to kill or either get zerged by the counterzerg enemies build to destroy the zerg.
