It does look lovely, nearly made me regret taking the plunge with the sharp. The Z coming in autumn looks even better though.

Hmm, need a new TV (mines 20 yrs old at least) and theres an Evesham not far from me, will go and have a look at that one tomorrow.

Plus on the Evesham website it's £50 cheaper than in the article.

The 100htz would be cool, although that's more for motion stuff and seeing as i don't watch a huge amount of sport it's not going to effect me much, + reports are that the toshys handle motion pretty well anyway.

we shall see, i'm still waiting for a hdmi cable to switch over on my v+ from rgb over scart anyway.

I'd love to get a flat screen telly, but tbh my CRT gets about 2 hours use a week if it's lucky :(

Maybe when someone releases a 40" telly with HD-DVD slot in the side of it, and surround sound speaker sockets on the back. Maybe I'll get one then. When it's £200 in Asda :)

And even then, I'll claim the VAT :D

Personally I'm waiting a while, I see no rush as it stands thus will only get a flat panel sooner if my current CRT TV explodes.

Tescos have/had a really nice LG flat panel when i was in there last, came very close to buying it, cant really justify the cost though when we don't have/want sky HD and we don't intend to get a next gen console for a while.

Oh and for those looking at this round-up, they miss a lot of the better LCD's available right now. Like Jarakin says, avforums for a better opinion on what to spend your cash on.
