The Price of RvR-Discuss!!

On a typical RvR run where i get pwned upon arrival (hence my surname)i tend to have spent a lot of money on potions etc, Here is a typical breakdown of 1 rvr run for me

Hardening dirk charge...4 gold (10 minutes)
Dragon Ring Charge......25 gold (10 minutes or until i get whacked)
Invigoration Charge......5 gold
Bracer healing charge...7.5 gold

total for 10 minutes tops rvr is....41.5 gold pieces

i play roughly 3 hours a day and this costs me roughly 747 gold pieces. Not to mention any heal pots i use and water potions so weekly im looking at spending around 5 plat. I know its the dragon ring charge thats killing me so i sometimes dont bother with it. So realistically im prolly spending around 1-2 plat.

But on the brighter side at least i know i will earn 17 gold per week for the 1 kill i am blessed with in bledmeer faste.

How much do you boys and girls spend (specially interested to know about you stealther classes)

I find it tends to even it out with the money earnt, really depends on how many different charges you use.

However pots are a nightmare, I'd like to see more than one charge per pot would save on storage also.

Aye agree with that m8...if there going to make poisons stack why cant they make potions stack as well would be a lot easier for all concerened. How much u spend a week zden?.

On ranger:

I dont use charges except (on average) twice a week refill on Blackened Wrap since Im too lazy to buy hp-regen pots too (more about that later). Thats 200g / week just to reduce downtime.

I would say easily 30 end-replenish pots; going for 3g / piece = ~100g on endurance; i tip often off with BP-end crystals which reduces costs and can be easily bought in any keep if u buy a NPC which hands em out

I personally would love to see end-bottles like water-bottles; since my inventory has like all kinda of stuff already; siege-tools; spare wood; spare arrows; all kinds of legendaries, charge items (when u die; but u dont wanna release and need buff-charges!) and various stuff which drops and u too lazy to x-fer to the necessary char yet etc etc

Just annoying those pots wont stack tbh; would be way easier if all that stuff stacked.. I dont use AF-charges (anymore) Im too fed up with crafting to level my own alchemist and finding an alchemist each time its empty... well forget that!

think from R8.5 to R9 I spent something like 3-4p and about 30k BP just on potions/charges/totems.
got my own Alchemist so no extraordinary CM prices.

use 200g atleast a week on power pots, maybe 60g on water, but i earn like atleast 2p on rvr, just today i already got 450g. Its a great add if your sick of pve imo, think i got 10p in rvr since nf came, no need to farm anymore

I'm too stingy to use charges that cost money to recharge or pots or anything.

So I run a total of 0g costs per week on average.

On rare occassions I may use a water pot, in which case it goes up to maybe 3g~ a week or so.. but that's pretty rare

Hardly ever used potions on merc in rvr but since I started playing cleric a little less than 2 weeks ago I've started using loads of mana pots x<

Stacking pots would also ease the pain alchys go through each time they restock CM. Moving 80 pots from inventory to CM and setting price to 3g (or 20g for water pots) takes ages. Also, if you're lucky enough to have a low lot number house in the main housing zone (so it shows up first on market explorer searches and is close to main housing zone market), there's the space issue.

When things go well, I have to restock 2-3 times a day, that's 10 water, 30 power, 20 end and 20 end regen. Last page of CM is dedicated to scrolls, dyes, top end pots when I happen to get my hands on drop components, and of course behemoth pots. If pots stacked just in 5-stacks, this would not be an issue.

But it'll never happen. Stacking pots means buff pots are less of a hassle to use, which might mean less money from bot accounts. Yeah right, as if lvl 20 buffs could ever compete with lvl 50 ToA bot ones.

Also there's the issue of pots providing things that you usually need a live player to get, like end regen, heals etc. Yeah right, as if you'd ever replace a main healie with a stack of pots, or an end regen provider with same.

Most potions I needed when playing cleric, was not uncommon to waste 10-20 potions in 1 evening, but often I used one if I thought the fight might last a while even if I was not oop yet. Respecced my cleric to buffbot now - no idea how it would be in NF, probably wouldnt need that many as it is more common to have fop up.

On theurgist I dont really need them much, mostly used them in the few FG fights I've had in NF, jacinas/tartaros and mcl2 seems to be enough usually. Would probably drop mcl2 and use more potions if it wasn't for this many tower takes ie. pet spam needed on door.

On berserker I always use end regen potion right after rez if fight is not over yet even tho it's often wasted due to fast in combat rebuff but comes handy sometimes, thats maybe 10 potions a day.

So if playing cleric or zerker I may need ~200-300g a week if playing a lot, never been a problem really.

On my Cleric I have quite a few end Potions but those are not as usefull anymore as pre NF so I guess I only buy about 10 a week now (was around 10 per day before NF).
Don't use power potions they heal around 5% power or something... not worth it in my opinion.
Don't use charges except Artifact charges of course.
So I guess I spend around 30-50g max a week on potions which is nothing since you get gold for RvR kills now, made quite a few Plat since NF was released

i found im oop more with new MCL, b4 u could nearly have RP and MCL2 for same price as new MCL2

Hmm, I think I'm definitely on a positive trend. Gained considerable amount of plats since NF, even though I am chewing power pots like popcorn.

i normally use charges like zahurs ring pom recharge when i think a fights going to last a while. Normally dont use charges on items before i get to a fight i judge if im going to be mezzed/assisted into the ground then decide if the charges or pots are worth it

i got 700+ alchy so when i can be bothered to stock up on power pots or end pots is all dependant on how bored i am the previous night if im crafting it means im close to deleting and choosing another game

Short version, ummm...something like a 500g a days play in rvr if soloing, very little if grouped - maybe 20 gold a day.Dont solo that much now with the keeptake zerg though, also logging sod all play time due to work and a move for those that have asked
Just curious btw who (aside from archer classes) finds they earn as much pre-NF in solo as they do now in solo?
