I'd say that too... if there wasn't that attack with that axe first... Did he switch in between two two-handed weapons or doesn't he have an offhand? Berserker mainhand will always swing due to left axe mechanics so he either missed him with a two-handed axe or with a one-handed axe without wearing a offhand weapon first or it was an offhand hit... or he is wearing Malice Axe as offhand weapon. Which is somehow a little stupid.

Well... I favour the last option... he is wearing Malice Axe as Offhand. You can't hit for over 1000 damage with an offhand weapon. It is simply impossible, so it either was a mainhand attack or it was a two-handed weapon. Even for a mainhand attack the hit is a little high. I don't hit for 500+ very often as blademaster as it is hardly possible, berserkers will hit for even less due to left axe mechanics. So it must have been a two handed weapon... still complaining when being able to hit for over 1000 with a melee weapon is a bit off track.

Besides, if you and a berserker are in a 1 vs 1 situation an the berserker uses his ability he is stupid. Simply use triple wield (immunity to all criticals) and the berserker is fresh meat as he has no more defensive abilities.

swords can't be equipted in the offhand in Midgard, that's only for Albs and Hibs.
so that swing with the axe that missed, was the offhand from an earlier round, then switched to 2-handed Sword and hit for the 1k damage. Teddy-mode crits are up to 100% btw.

Battler is a sword that can be equipped in the offhand in Midgard... at least it should be according to Mythic.

And I know that berserker mode crits can be up to 99% (100% is impossible) that's why I've written 500 and not 670.

U know that zerkers style with offhand right? its called left axe styles, dmg is sick yes but all BL tanks hit hard, i hit zzang for 730ish dmg without a crit with my 2 h malice. no spike no battler charge. just luck

Errr... Left Axe styles are handled the same way as all other styles... Style damage is added to the mainhand damage, not to the offhand damage. Even then, if the mainhand misses, the style isn't executed and therefore no style damage will be added.

And to hit for 730 is a hit for (at least near) cap damage. You likely have to have something like banespike, battler debuff, or leadership running besides you got 10% melee relic bonus.
