The average diabetic gets his blood drawn(3 vials average) atleast 4 times / year. (control).
The average diabetic also draws his/her own blood 1825 times/year from ze fingertip. (sugar measure)

Since i've been a diabetic, this averages to;

36500 needle sticks.
45625 blood drawn my self.
300 vials of blood.

This means, i've spent 304 hours sticking neeedles in me, 63 hours drawing blood, 506 hours of waiting results of said drawn blood.

On average, in the real world the numbers can be higher/lower
