Yep - a fitting final back to back episode, with a little bit more of Hayley's Atwells on display just for good measure... loved it! :D

Saw it tonight and liked it as an opening.
I'm not sure I see the same as you lot in Hayley Atwell. She's buxom but she's not stacked up front. Julia Benson for comparison is naturally stacked. Then again, my wife is 36GG so I'm kind of used to OMFG boobs on a daily basis. :)

There are two things in particular that I liked about it and one thing I didn't.
Like 1) Ridley and Tony Scott's influence on filming style. It went into that fast shutter speed during fight scenes for extra grainy. You know the one... where you can see individual grains of dust or raindrops in sharp focus.
Like 2) Historical accuracy. King Stephen *was* the next king after Edward I and it *was* later called "The Anarchy".

Dislike) Nice as the castles were, they weren't generally that big at that period in time. Most of Britain's largest castles were built over 100 years later.

I wasn't sure in the first hour and have to admit to a little clock watching but the 2nd hour was great. Looking forward to the next episode, though I may just get it from the usual places, the only thing is it really does look good in HD so may just series link it and watch them all in a few months.

I've already linked the series on my box. :)

Only one episode to go for the Brits watching this!!!

I have never read the original story but I will go and read it now. I imagine as per most book to tv/movie stuff hard core fans will find alot of things missing along with flaws/changes to get it to fit into a mini series.

But I have really enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to the final ep!

oh yeah and Atwell ticks all the boxes for me!!!
