toht did it, so I can aswell! :<

This'll be a long thread so instead of a WoT, I'll split it into sections so you can read it bit by bit if you cba to read it all in one go :)

The Morning

Got up early at 7am to go for my first shift at my new job. Came in at 8 knowing that I had a twelve hour shift ahead of me, but it didn't really bother me as I already knew it was going to be a good day. Basically all I had been told was that I was going to be working at a bar.. Well 3 actually, but that was is

A mutual friend of me and my older brother was teaching me how to do this and that an in the meanwhile we had a great laugh. He's a Liverpool fan and supports them by heart, so ofc I poked him abit about their loss last night :)

Basically the job was all about preparing the bars for tonight, so we filled up the booze bottles, replaced the sodas etc etc. After about two hours I asked him "so are you going out when we're done?", in the belief that we would be done in the evening.. Then he looked wierd at me replying that we were almost done. Baffled as I was the only reply I could come up with at the time was "sweet" :D

When we were done, we said goodbye to the other staff members, went out and bought a pack of smokes each and a few beers and sat outside in the early morning sun of Copenhagen(it was about 12 or so). Had a great laugh with him for about an hour or so.

The afternoon

We split up and I called my older brother who had slept at my place telling him that I'd be home early. When I got home had had made a sweetass lunch for the both of us. After we had finished the feast he went for a nap and I watched the final episode of Friends, which is just epic! That's the way to end a serie that has been running for 10 years tbh!

When he woke up I took forth my new cookbook(from which both the recipe of my epic banana cake and carrot cake has spawned from) and we decided that salmon/spinach lasagna was the way to go! We went to the supermarket where I work, got everything we needed + beers + white wine + vodka for tomorrow

Just after we got home, my neighbour in the building next to me started playing really loudly, but it wasn't his usual choice of music. It wasn't techno this time where you could only hear the bass, no it was more than that. Almost as if he had put his speakers straight up against my wall and playing some classical music! I really enjoyed it, so I went straight for my dad's old LPs and found the soundtrack of "Where Eagles Dare"(which btw is imo the best Clint Eastwood movie ever made) and threw it on at the instant that his piece was done, turned up the volume and put my speakers straight up against the wall, hoping that he would hear it. He shut off his music almost at the same time as mine began. When my song had finished, I turned off the LP and waited in silence. After about half a minute an old Beatles song came on 'It's been a hard day's night and I thought to myself "okay, if that's how he wants to play, I'll go along with it!". So I found my dad's The Wall LP and put it on. We went back and forth and had about 4-5 pieces each with a bunch of old classics! When I didn't get a reply on my last song I stuck my head out the window and yelled for him. I've never met the guy before, but apperantly it's a 28y old guy and is a really nice chap! He had to go to work, but he'll do it again sometime soon he said and I'm really looking forward to it :D

The Evening

After the great music experience my brother and I went into the kitchen with more music and started cooking our lasagna and had a laugh. When it was all done, we sat down at the table and had a great dinner with an amazing white wine. It's not often that I get to spend an entire day with my brother as he is in the military and always on the run, so it was really great just sitting there with him and having a laugh like we did back in the when he still lived at home. We actually had an hour and a half talk, that didn't involve Afghanistan at all, and I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! It's all he ever talks about and he misses it greatly and will be going back to that hellhole in august, so an entire day with him alone is just worth so much to me

He then decided to go out tonight, but I decided to stay in as I'd like to be fresh for tomorrow evening where me, him and one of our friends are going to a "rave". It's our cousin's birthday so he's going out to see her and have a few drinks and then on to see some of his friends

After he had left I light a ciggie and opened up a beer and turned on the telly. Just as I did BOOM: Lord of the Rings The Return of the King! I had the big tv, the remote, all the beers and cigarettes a man could wish for. For the next three hours I just sat there enjoying the movie, smoking my cigs and drinking cold ones straight out of the fridge! What a way to end a great day! I had totally forgotten how much I enjoy that movie..

The Ending

When the movie was done I thought to myself "how could this day have been any better?".. Straight away I thought of you guys! I thought I'd share my great day with the lot of you. Eventhough I might seem like a bastard at times, I still think of you as great part of my everyday life and that's why I keep coming back, no matter how many goodbye threads I make(lol who was I trying kid?). Because I really like it here.. I like all of you! Some more than others, but I still like all of you! No matter what I might say or tell you.. I still like you! FHOT you've completed my perfect day.. And for that I thank you!

Good night :)

TL;DR: I've had a pretty awesome day :)
