Collision detection between players in RvR.

This would allow tanks to really provide protection for casters etc. rather than the current scenario where people can just run straight through a crowd to their desired target. This would also provide a new dimention in strategic play with the consideration of blocking during battles.

However, do not put collision detection on mobs due to the warping / buggy AI at times. And to prevent mobs blocking entrances / exits to dungen etc.

Stealthers in RvR are also effected by the blocking code so they would have to find a route past people to get position rather than just running through them. It would also mean that a player running would stop as if they had hit a tree if they bumbed into a steather.

Limited home invasion, if that's out of the question upgrade the frontier zones to have things worth protecting (Arcanium mining locations, by far best xp spots, the best drops, something) so that in the end fighting is done over something major where you feel it really matters. Relics could been it, keeps could been it, couriers could been it but they all fall a bit short on a few issues.

Extend the duel system to guild vs guild 1fg.

Add a new zone where you can duel guilds from other realms 1fg.

Add a new interesting rvr zone, something similar like the battle grounds but with three keeps, one for each realm. All keeps have relics with different attributes then we see today which only affect the people in that zone, make some sort of penalty like no rp for kills in this zone this to prevent that all rvr stop in the frontier zones.

Remake the relics the current ones are way to boring, perhaps add more relics of different types or increase +% bonus you get from the current ones, make the relic guards a few levels weaker so you don't have to bring a zerg just to kill the guards this way the relics exhange hands more often and hopefully on primetime, increase the levels of the bluecon archers (lol) on the walls of the relics to purp with increased attackspeed.

Add a new realm message saying when relics go neutral.
Add a new realm message saying enemy relic carrier got killed.

Today when a relic goes neutral it is more or less lost, relic carrier often a small grp or a single guy with speed five + sprint heading for the mile gates.

To make it more fun for all parts make guards from all keeps (if any left) patrol a much bigger area and even the zonewalls in bigger groups hell why not even the keep lords this in order to trying to find the relic carrier/grp. Why not make it possible to port to Bleedmer/Benowyc and Dun crauchon (if your realm controlls it) and only when your relic is neutral this to give the realm a second chance to defend. This would make it more interesting unlike today bring zerg to relic bash down doors run to milegate, it will give the defending realm more options then lets all gather a zerg and run to relic and try to kill their zerg with 1fps zzz boring.

Keeps.

Make level 10 keeplords much stronger, add another 10-15 levels on the keeplords and alot of magic resist to them ive seen three chanters and some random hibs kill a lord faster then they can say we are owerpowered, the regular guards need a few more levels aswell they are so weak its almost no challenge this as upgraded lvl 10.

When enemys enter the lord room make a big guard pop occur to help the lord in the lord room or why not even more fun add a
master of runes to help the lord fight off attackers (if a level 10 keep) and the same counterpart to hib/alb keeps.

Other ideas if a guild member is inside their claimed keep with say 5fg bashing on the doors why not if standing at the lord give him the controll over the guard pops, like today one stupid patrol spawn gets slaughered in 0,1 seconds, say he got a list of guards and it increase over time and when he wants to he can release the guards in larger numbers for example "we got 3fg inc to attack them in back then the guy at lord can release the guards at the same time".

Money? today it's more or less used to craft, buy crafted armors and upgrade doors to relics/keeps.

Introduce special wood for doors and make it alot cheaper, today nobody want to spend 2p to make a highlevel door on their keep only to see it get bashed down in one minute.

Introduce new merchants at relic keeps where you can buy different magic abilitys for doors, example imbue your door with say a damage shield etc, this cost alot of money of course but adds alot of fun, and if you have enough money you can make your guildkeep a fortress.

Another thing regarding money why not when under siege you can actually buy guards at the keeplord with set prizes for different kind of guards, they pop at lord and run down to defend. This way a smaller grp can defend themselfs vs a force coming up to the lord wich today always ends in one way, the current random guard pops is so damn boring anyways change is needed!!.

FIX SO YOU CAN'T PBAE DOORS. this thing alone ruins alot of the fun in keep fights. Make the door hit you back for 2k damage if you pbae the door just do anything it have to stop it's such a boring feature.

Introduce more ways to get inside a guildkeep under attack then today you only got one option and that is getting slaugthered at the gatekeeper. The guild who have a keep claimed can port inside to defend it. To prevent ppl from changing guilds to be able to port inside make it a 1 hour timer to join a new guild after quitting the previous one.

Add respec stones drops to all end boss monsters in the new si dungeons in other words level 80+ mobs. This way guilds can do their own hunts on respec stones.

Add some really uniqe super drops to the final mobs in tuscaran glacier and same of course in alb/hib.

Introduce more RAs, tweak exisiting ones lower costs boost etc.

Make more interesting patches not like today this class now do 5% more damage this class now is nerfed to hell, this class got a new timer on this ability bla bla bla, not good enough to keep players staying imho.

Anyways just some ideas that popped :D

Do not allow relics to be captured during the hours of 0300-0800

That way when you take a keep or a relic at least theres a chance it may still be there when you get back from a hard day at the office...

atm many people don't see the point in relics and keeps - too many times they have worked hard to capture them only to see them fall in the 'quiet hours'.

Gamers have proved they cannot police themselves - this is now mythics responsibility.

Removal of buffbots - put range (long range) on buffs - if move out of this range the buff effect is cancelled, but not the buff (so clerics,healers,druids,etc. dont have to recast them all the time).

how about this....and it will never happen

in the new rvr zones....collision detection so tanks can really be tanks and archers can really be archers etc

secondairy skills

would like to have drinks in the game like alcohol.

Secondairy skills that won't effect RVR or pve:

-fishing (goal? uhm sell loot and a chance to get a nice item)

-alcohol consuming (drinkin contests)

-reading (read books that are written by enemie realms like history (pure for roleplayers) the higher the skill the better you are able to "read" the storys)

when you do a secondairy skill it will raise the skill just like crafting.

maybe when you get drunk, your str en con will raise but you can't walk or look straight and you dex/quick/int/piety decreases.
you can't talk proparly and mobs are conning different when you get more drunk ( the dragon begins to con blue so your char thinks he can handle it)

To many alcohol can result of kind of poison or death.

All this to get the roleplay some boosting. ppl who don't wanna be a part of this can just ignore it and play the game.



ps. yes i played everquest :)

example - Paladin can morph into a angelic form (increasing defence/damage)
