tell me about it. I've become a veritable slob since being single again. I can't even remember when I last hoovered my bedroom for example, and I only changed the bed sheets today because I was trying on some extreme onanism yesterday and the teedleswimmers went just about everywhere*

They were also the scariest with their in-sync periods meaning their house becomes a no-go area for a week on pain of being followed from room to room whilst being unfairly (and rather loudly) berated, and sternly prodded, by a horde of stroppy vixens who's genes are telling them that they can no longer take a joke they found funny but a couple of days ago

Shared with three girls in my second year; dirty bitches the lot of them, and not in the good way. I can tolerate mess (clothes on the floor etc.) but can't abide dirt; I'll literally clean up as I'm going along if I'm cooking or something, whereas the missus will turn the place into Steptoe's Yard in about five minutes. Despite stereotypes, I'm also far better at multi-tasking housework than the missus. And Wij's line about sticklers for tidyness when they're not doing it is spot on.

Bitter experience

My wife constantly berates me for any mess I don't tidy up immediately but completely fails to see any connection between her right to say such a thing and the fact that she leaves toast crumbs everywhere, doesn't hang her own clothes up (i do it for her), refuses to throw any post away and leaves it lying around, leaves the bath full of her leg hairs, is always 'too shattered' after dinner to take anything away etc... Etc... Etc...

You couldn't see the carpet in her bedroom at her mums. Now she has me she's mad-keen on tidiness.
