I think he's a decent player.. if he didn't have his behaviour problems then he would have probably gone instead of Henderson..

Yeah, if fans from team A gets a match abandoned, then team B wins. Happened to Denmark a few yeas ago vs Sweden, danish fan ran onto pitch and tried to attack a player.

I am really suprised how dutch people (including the squad) thought how 'easy' it would be to defeat the danish... We had luck in the world cup vs 'Denemarken' , and they qualified above Portugal. (note: if you face a danish team where 80% of em speak dutch, don't fall into tricks like Rommedahl saying ' its safe Vlaar, easy!'..../facepalm! However I thought Denmark can play better football then they showed last night, I've seen nice combinations during the qualifiers didn't really see them yesterday. I honestly think Denmark has a good chance of reaching the semi finals if they continue as 2nd and face the russians in the quarter.
(on a side note: how many times can u grab the ball with ur hands befor it's illegal? oh my..)

It's funny I actually thought the first was a more clear penalty that the second,
you cant go aiming at a defenders arm and expect to get a penalty! imo it's no better than diving in the box an good on the ref that he didnt fall for it!
The first one how ever...well...accidental or on purpose? I've seen the replay a couple times, and he does seem genuinely surprised that it bounces on his fingertips.

He made a handsball twice in the same action .
If i were a ref, i would not give a penalty for the first touch on the upper arm, but the 2nd contact.. well.. that is definitly a penalty (no worries though, we would've missed it

wouldn't it be funny though, if Denmark get awarded a crucial penalty for the same thing later on in the tournement ?
I do feel for the dutch fans though, (the ones I've "spoken to")

Not sure why, but I do find myself sympathising with Ireland (want them to do well)
havent seen them play for ages though so donno what to expect.

The Danes deserved the win - the Netherlands players were very wastefull in front of goal and at times shambolic in defense. Denmark had a pretty good go at getting the second goal and as the posession stats showed they had good periods of dominating play.
It was a very entertaining game and the Danes did themselves credit by not just sitting back like Portugal did. The Netherlands players showed great selfishness in front of goal continually shooting from difficult angles and great distances rather than passing the ball.
