"The memory cannot be read"???

Lo all,

I just installed some new memory on my computer, working fine b4 on PC2100 2 x 256 MB but i got some cheap RAM and upgraded to 2 x 1GB PC2700 (greedy!!).

Windows is working fine, tested it with SiSoft but...

In DAOC I get a game.dll crash with teh following application error

"The instruction at XXXXXX referenced memory at XXXXX. The memory cannot be read"

Running Win XP

then its OK to terminate and return to desktop.

Is my memory duff or do i need to change some settings anywhere?

Running DAOC, SI and tried both cashe options full and armour only...same result.

Neither windows nor Sisoft test memory thoroughly enough.

thanks, but i resolved it by removing stcks, swapping bank position and giving them am almighty smack to make sure they are in...

wow major diff to speed.
