no bazaar for me :-/

My plead to make it saturday still stands anyone else want to sign my petition...?

ok ppl, this bazaar will be huge!

We have been donated a LOT of items and more are comming - we will have so many items that I need to recruit 2-3 extra merchants to sell fortune-bags.

Thanks goes out to all of those who has given us donations, it is really great to see :)


For all of you who haven't <grins evuly> well, thank you too cos if everbody donated, I would need a couple of extra accounts for mules :p


I look forward to seeing you all on Friday, I am sure it will be a load of fun.

I can't come on friday :-(.............. only due to work...... other people will probably be getting ratted down the local.

Weekends are so much better alot more people can make it.

Tho Im sure there will be a fair few people there I just thought that there'd be at least double over the weekend, therefore more cash and everyone can join in.

Make it 6 or 7 pm on sat so the weekend workers can get in and play before heading off to a club somewhere.

I wish there was a vote on the day/date its seems a bit harsh to say its this day and thats that.

Yes I may be whining but only cause I actually want to be their.

<shrugs>

well, thing is, those arranging it, have an advantage, see?
they get to decide the date. its a perk you gain for the countless hours you put into it :)

well, it turns out that quite a few members of PARP have birthdays in late October.

Cauton is thursday, mine saturday and Casbardh Sunday so we decided that Friday would be best.

There will always be late workers, ppl who sleep till late in the afternoon, weekend-workers and ppl with lives. There is no possible way we could give everybody a chance to attend.

As it is now, we have chosen to take ppl with children and Kyra :)p) into concideration and ofc all the birthdays :D

Well its a good thing we aren't having the bazaar in the frontier, I can only imagine what the hibs or mids might suggest when they get one of us as slaves.

Well then again, if Solid bought me it wouldn't be so bad. :)

*heh sorry I just can't help myself :) *

Oh and I don't think Kaiser will be able to make it so some lucky person out there actually has a chance to get this fun minstrel for a few hours. Imagine...your very own minstrel to taxi you about all over and play mana for your leveling needs!

I think Mouth's Tooth may be up for auction after a successful Barfog raid by PL and TDS (and others maybe, apologies for not actually getting there myself) last night... that's a VERY nice weapon... I have top quality crafted weapons and Mouth's Tooth outdoes them on the effective DPS ... get your wallets out, you infs ;)

Really Jup? Mouth's tooth is a 16.2 dps, 93% quality sword giving it an effective dps of 15.07, that's not really that high tbh. My 98% main gauche (15.5 dps, 15.19 effective) has better effective dps and 35% bonus instead of 30%. Also MT doesn't proc - it's charged.

Well for a relatively fast weapon it's pretty high - I use dirks for their speed (2.2) and Mouth's Tooth comes in at 2.6 spd which isn't bad. My dirks are 99 and 98 % quality... don't have the game here so I can't check precise details, but they're slightly down on the Tooth for effective DPS....

TBH I'm such a n00b I never have any idea what to use anyway :) I'm a crap technician too, usually trying to swig beer or smoke that messing around swapping things over doesn't get done much either ;)

Basic setup is guarded rapier for PA switching to dirks for speedy follow up... I'll take any advice going to save me testing it myself, and have a reasonable set of choices (Mouth's Tooth, Feather light gauche, ellyl rapier, gorged rapier of smiting, gladius of battlelord)..... how do you peel your middies?

Ooops... way off topic.... BUMP though :)

Depending on your quickness, RA's and such dirks could be a bad choice of weapon, the game forces a hardcap of 1.5seconds but you can actually swing at 1.1seconds or so, reducing your damage because you're losing .4 of a swing. Stillettos and Main Gauches are superior in that way.

Something like that anyway :)

Well I have a guarded rapier and a main gauche, the gauche is 2.8 speed so not much slower than the mouth's tooth. BTW for PA you should probably use a gladius, it's a bit slower than a guarded rapier (3.7 vs 3.5) and you can't use the full 16.5 dps yet anyway.

:) Only kidding... I'll scrape some cash together and try experimenting a bit.... no rush, I guess :)

Hmm... on topic again now, I guess... actually I'll probably scrape together some cash and try to get a bid in for Kyra again at this Bazaar, although I doubt my funds will stretch to the 1.6 plat bid I put in last time forcing Kaiser to throw 1.7 plat into the realm coffers :p
