sooo this is like $10 on steam and has got rave reviews from everywhere apparently.

Have any freddies tried it and is it worth more than a trem sandwhich?

I've also just finished Dreamfall recently. Seriously, wtf? I think it gave me cancer of the logic. Though I do want a gorilla toy, and kept on going back to the house to make sure he wasn't lonely.

That's from my thread ages ago, about finding a PS2 or PC game.

For $10 you'll get a fair bit of gameplay out of it, and it's fairly enjoyable in places, but I really really didn't get it.

Dreamfall is the sequel isn't it?

Seems to be, according to steam - and the metascore for that is 75. The original gets 91 - and looks quite promising. Been itching for a good ole adventure, the new Sam & Max's don't really cut it.

Idd, I tried the new sam n max and it really wasnt very funny or entertaining at all.

I can't help but think that perhaps it could be, but the voices just don't.. fit.
