Did anyone see this? (I think it was on BBC1 at some point) anyway someone asked for it for their birthday so having a strong interest in Roleplaying and to some extent acting/theater I decided to break the seal and watch it having no real idea what it was about.

Turns out I have now watched my first Opera and I want MORE but now im scared - its not right for someone just turned 30 to like this kind of stuff... is it ?

Mid life crisis maybe ? arghhhhhhhhhh

Just say "Would you like to be able to buy shoes and clothes everyday, talk to your friends and get drunk every night?"

If she says yes, get her to join a roleplay guild :p

LOL :worthy:

Got me thinking tho Tears while very bored at work, do I like classical music?
Came up with answer no, but I like that one out of the original Omen film that goes "Aw, he, ah" is that classed as classical? :)

O Fortuna by carmina burana i think is the name of that track (currently residing in my classical file hehehe) if your good you can sing along with it using the name of sweets "Juicy Lucy!!! Hubba Bubba!! Chuppa Chuuuuuuuuuuuuu- uuuu -ps!!! FRU-uITSAL-AD!!! BlaAck-JaAcks!!! Jaa-aa-aw Break-ers!!!" and so on and so forth, ah yes i am indeed a truely sophisticated soul.

As to Tears cry of "mid life crisis!!" im 27, collect cartoons and rupert annuals and get up to all manners of childish hijinks basically bud to quote a famous sailor man you am what you am and if you try to be anything different youll just be unhappy, and anyone who tries to "reform" you deserves a kick up zee bum.

Don't try and be adult, think about it what do adults have? spastic colons, credit card bills, receding hairlines, mortgages, a list of regrets as long as ron jeremeys schlong, good manners, bad backs, tartan slippers, emotional bagage, the ghosts of opportunities past hanging around their necks and they get "useful" christmas and birthday presants (uurgh!!).

Dont kill off your inner child because all that will be left is the shell of a very unhappy old person trapped in a body theyve forgotten how to have fun in, a bit like putting john major in a mazariti with helena christenson and a bag of coke.

and never tell anyone to act their age, i did that to one of the oldies at the nursing home......

she dropped dead!

im the same.

so actually that confirms it, all that's left in this game are 12 yr. old kids, and old farts like us desperately trying to cling to our inner 12 yr old.

what a sad thought.

Ok im now officially depressed for today, I would love the chance to go back 20 years but retain the knowledge I have now.

I want to appreciated my mates at school for what they were!

I want to look at the school bully and say, in 20 years you'll be collecting garbage from my house while im earning three times as much as you !

I want to thank my teachers and parents for passing on life's essentials

I want to be banned from the school IT network again !

I want to ditch the car and have to walk or use the bike to get places

I want to run out into the street and play hide-n-seek

I want to have a better power ranger/transformer than the guy next door

I want my youth back !

well you cant go back lol (unless your reincarnated but you have to die 1st and if it doesnt work your buggered lol) so just be happy with what you got, ditch the heavy crap and just go make your self a chocolate milk (or similar fare) grap a duvet and lay on the floor/couch and watch some cartoons and take a moment to enjoy stuff without being cynical and grown up about it.

however if anyone does fancy a mass FH game of hide and seek arrange a meet up somewhere thats actually get-to-able and ill come play like a shot!

hmm maybe could have several tournements... kind of devide the country in to zones so everyone has a chance..... hmmmmm

mind you your all too sophisticated to go for that idea tbh.

We've got a kid on work experience this week, guess that contributed to the trigger.

and excuse me if i just burst into random "#Food, glorious food, Hot sausage and mustard. While we're in the mood - Cold jelly and custard" songs for the next few days, I just cant help it.
