Name a person you see as a Legend,

A legend in anyway,

He could be a funny person,
A smart person,
A hero,
A Singer??

Well, i see Bob Marly as a legend, His Music was cool, he like to sit off and Smoke weed,

Sure, it may be a naughty naughty in England,

But he was a chilled out man, with nice chilled out Music,

Don't be so uptight people, and relax...

 :sex:

"Apostle, shaman, prophet, priest, poet: call him what you will, Bob Marley lives in all of us."

He is a true Coolio.....

The great generals of the past, despite most of them being quite mad...

Alexander the Great
Genghis Khan
Alaric the Goth

..are three that spring to mind, plus Sir Francis Drake....

Other than that, Joan of Arc, Gandhi, J.R.R Tolkein (for writing the greatest tale ever told :p) and I'd think of others if I wasn't quite so tired

Yeah

Joan of Arc should be a legend i agree, but aint she already? :D

Anyways, more or less anyone who has written things worth rememberance should be legends, since they create legends imho :)

All in all....
Im happy with the legends we have, like Legendary characters (like joan of arc and great warlods) as well as lots of legendary creatures like dragons and faeries and not to mention elves. The world is full of legends, and i live for then :D Most things that is, but never existed, deserves a legend status =)

Is this the DJ or the character from "American Psycho"

It being Halo posting I was assuming the latter...

Edit: bah - teach me to read the whole thread first.

Superb book that - if a bit ... graphic... in places.

Not my fault... bloke at work brought it in :) (and it's not mp3ed on my computer, honest)

No idea what album it is - has "A sea to suffer in" as the first track.

no MDB album starts with that song :p

it's however a track from The Angel and the Dark River.
probably their best, moodiest, and emotionally heavy album.
not an easy listen, but quite brilliant...
personal favorites from that album are The Cry of Mankind and Your Shamefull Heaven (the violin intro is absolutely brilliant!)

I'll start behaving now, and stop using the forum as a public PM. I think. :p
