Very rarely do I proclaim films as excellent - but IMO this one deserves the title.
Sort of a mix between a thriller and crime detective style.
Starring Kevin Spacey & Kate Winslet, it focuses around the situation of a man on death row who is accused and found guilty of killing a fellow activist (both of who were protesting against death row). In his last four days alive, he asks a journalist to document his story. As she listens to the story, she realizes in fact he is not the murderer, and sets about trying to piece together the real story before his hour of judgment comes.
Parts of it may not be for the faint hearted - I couldn't believe it was a 15 - considering you see a lady tied up and strangled to death on the kitchen floor as she moves about in agony.
I recommend it fully!
