What setup is needed to take down this mob and the best tactics for doing so?

Scouting back on the forums, could go for

6 Animists + Support (aoe buffage, fop)

- or -

1 melee heavy group
1 pbaoe+melee group to take the blue/yellow adds

Saw a post where an alb raid got him to 40% that was based around a melee and pbaoe group. I guess the dragon raid setup would work nicely, two melee groups on the fish and one taking the adds, but thats 24 people to roll on drops :)

Isnt there a change coming/come where one of the big fish dosen't suffer defence penatlies for no. of attackers? Should hurt ani's somewhat I would have thought if its true, anyone got any more info on that? :twak:

The term "Leviathan" is not a translation, but rather a transliteration of the Hebrew word, livyâthân. Livyâthân is only found in Job 3:8, 41:1; Psalm 74:14; 104:26; and Isaiah 27:1. It is translated in the Greek translation of the Old Testament (LXX) as "dragon" (Greek, drakon) in every instance with one exception, Job 3:8, where it is translated as "whale" or "monster" (Greek, katos, found also in Matthew 12:40, NKJV "great fish," NAS "sea monster"

so not a crocadile

You need the legacy crusaders and na fianna group to do levi and kraken successfully O-o

j/k, 4anis +pb should work (active healer is also handy)

Animist will work until the next patch then I guess it will be time to resort to 3fg to tank it down.

As the Levi and Kraken will no longer suffer defensive penalties for x number of attackers. Meaning all those shrooms won't hit half as hard or even at all.

Farm now why you still can :)

correct, Job 41 also mentions Behemoth btw =)

a being looking like a dragon could be viewed like a crocodile similar being, at least that was the sidenote I read ( *Leviathan: crocodile near being ) but reading it up again, really sounds more like a dragon.

Although the religious origins of the word are interesting the more modern concept comes more from fishermens tales.

<Quote from Wikipidea entry on Leviathan>

During sea-faring's Golden Age, European sailors saw Leviathan as a gigantic whale-like sea monster, usually a sea serpent, that devoured whole ships by swimming around the vessels so quickly as to create a whirlpool.

...

Gigantic whale-like sea monster seems to fit fairly nicely with mythics model.

Indeed you may be a classic (and google) master. You seem to have spent too much time in classics and not in english language classes. Not a crocadile? Pfft - spell check I suggest. :touch:

And your first thread was really on topic mate. You neither;

a) mentioned the setup needed as asked
b) were helpful

So imo you weren't discussing the subject either.

I'll say I was picking fault because it was you who felt the need to look like a "pompus prick" (again, great spelling) by trying to look clever in the first place. Fine if you feel I'm doing the same, think I'll live with the shame - I don't see your need to be rude and call me a "prick" especially at your age. :p

I'll agree with north better than south though.....
