What really surprised me was someone from the Zoo saying they weren't sure what would happen next, maybe they would have to close down now ....

No chance ... The best thing the public want is to keep his work and enthusiasm going.

Not amazingly amused but some will be I guess...

Shame, I had a lot of respect for the guy and the stuff he did (if not always agreeing with his methods)

heh, the man always laughed about most things, a big component of his life was humour. For once I actually wont whine about a silly joke when someone dies.
