The lameness of corpse jumping

First I must say that I had no internet connection for about a week, so this is quite old.
But still it applies to everyone because it could happen again.

Disclamer: This is not a flame thread. This is now a whine thread. This is just stating the obvious thread so ppl won't do stupid things.


Recently we got expkilled at hulks. When I mean expkilled I mean cc'ed/killed from behind when we were our hands busy with the mob.
That's ok. it happens.

But what followed afterwards kind of amazed me.

The hib group that killed us jumped/laughed/danced on our corpses until we all autod.
Some guy named Metallian even started to dance with alb graves nearby(lol). Don't know what they wanted to show that way, but I congratulate them on being really lame.

To all the ppl I fought with and against:
pls don't behave like this, it doesn't do you any honor, Especially when u expkill someone. You will get much more respect if u will show respect yourselves. When u do that kind of stuff u don't earn any respect for you.

To the hibs:
U looked stupid.

No need to whine (or state the obvious as you call it, lol) when you encounter people doing things you think are lame then just have a chuckle to yourself. Just think, lol @ these people, do they realise how immature they are looking?

For example a few days ago my 1fg got run over by 3-4 alb fgs. Some newbie then started howling in victory like this was some sort of achievement. I couldn't help but laugh.

Unfortunately i was there at that time aswell, in the hibby grp and didnt like what i saw, so i got a wee bit pissed with them acting like 10year olds, and even left the grp cos of it, to make a statement that i didnt like what they were doing at all.

Jumping on bodies is totally lame, one thing is to kill your enemy, but the least thing you can do is show the ones you kill some sort of respect and not jump on em or laugh of em, or atleast do a /bow or /salute or something like that.

Especially Metallian didnt get the point of not jumping on bodies until i left the grp, but think even he got it when they figured they couldnt do umber hulks with no warden. They did some heavy begging to get me back again, and i rejoined and the fekker was still jumping on bodies, but took heavy flames from the grp as they didnt want me to leave again, so hopefully hell think twice before acting like a immature prick again.

We xpkilled you yes, wich i dont care much about wether we did or not tbh, but all the jumping and laughing and stuff the other ppl in my grp did after that was just lame. And i wont make any excuses for them, even though i were in the grp.

I was in the grp who killed u.. and 2 in our grped did jump on ure corpses wich is lame yes. Like Asmodans way of showing what he thinks /salute to u asmo

I know body jumping or /laughing etc is lame, but with assasin class enemies I just cannot help myself
I tend to even send in my pets to hit those when they are dead.. just keep hitting them with my pets till they release...
I hate assasins, other players I let be, and just enjoy the rp they give.

LOL when u fight mobs in frontier/DF etc, u can pretty much expect EVERYTHING to happen, if u dont like it dont be there.

haha imo this is pathetic.. btw why are the pictures named expkill?? Hope you know what it means.. cause imo those pics had nothing to do with a expkill.

You take this way to serious hah.. don't play the game if you don't want ppl to jump on your corpse beacuse it won't change! Bad luck for you!

One more thing.. when you are dead, you don't feel or get upset by someone that jumps on your body.. irl that is. If you didn't know this already i can tell you.

I want to know what drives ppl that do this stupid stuff so ppl stop doing it. The feel of their uberness after killing ppl in a fight that was not really fair or the feel of their uberness after finding a dead enemy?

For example, today I was laughspammed by a lvl50 hero(3 pages of laughspam). He was rooted by me in a big fight, I had about 5%hp left and some tank killed me. The rooted guy started to laughspam me. What is that all about?

I agree,its prolly the lamest thing you can do.. however whining about it on these boards won't make it any better.
I would say the obvious and tell you to brush yourself off, sharpen your blade and go seek revenge. It's just a shame that it's proberbly highly unlikely your going to see the dude that jumped on your corpse and kill him again. He might be around the same area when you go back but unless you click on every hib/mid there your not going to find him.
Suggestion for goa/mythic - bring in a "marker" system so when someone kills you the next time you see them their name will be highlighted in a diffrent colour thus making your revenge all the more sweeter.

Well what can I say,

I currently have a long list of lamers that have done the Dance, Laugh etc to me over time.

If I Kill em they get a /laugh /dance /laugh

Anyone else always gets a /bow /salute

It took me a long time to get to 50 as Flinx and Ive been killed and XP killed many times
Expected the killings as I soloed a lot in frontiers MID and ALB (Damn those trees are nice xp btw)

The game will always have these emote idiots (most have em macroed for fast spamming)
a lot will leave for PvP for a bit so maybe the server may get a bit more mature.

and to all of you that do get the /laugh from me remember this Im a Hunter and I Carry a Sword because I like a challenge.
anyone can make Cookie Cutter Charas that are flavour of the month.
So if you are killed by me the /laugh is justified coz you just got owned by what many consider a Gimp.

Agree Wuren can't get angry anymore at some RvR noobs feeling relieved when the big bad wolf is dead.

After all who knows maybe they're not jumping, just trying to get rid of that &é" clogging their pants

But when they stay there for the whole autorelease time, then realise the zerg left without them and get popped in mid flight by a ranger arrow, then it's well worth the wait
