shotgun? I feel u may have only played it during the 1.2 balls up period when the auto-shottie was just a tad overpowered (massively so) and when the dreaded supressive fire was in force ( thankfully now removed). We're now on 1.3a and shortly 1.5 ( with voice comms) will be out. Try it again m8 if this is the case.... maybe u have got 1.3a and ur just one of the few who actually understand how to use the shotties.

i never played it before, but a friend of mine had informed me of the overpowered shotguns a while back, which he gave as the reason for FLF's low popularity.
- i use the shotguns for the same reason i use shotguns in any game: they go where they fire. even in CS the m3 is 100% accurate

i always say gg at the end of a CS game out of habit. Every1 used to do it in q2 probably out of politeness. Along with things like GL and HF before team games and duels. do people say that before CS clan matches? ive never played one

I think saying gg at the end of it all often winds people down who have been arguing etc too as at the end of the day we are "mostly" all there for a bit of fun

yes, the FLF grenades are pure lose...

its a realistic mod, that uses gibbing as the default result of a grenade. ok, so i love games which let you gib people, but not when its grenades.

as for the CS m3, the m3 is the pump action shotgun, and its 100% accurate, apart from if your being shot.

1) FLF is NOT a realistic mod, that's the point. U notice how u can shoot ppl more than once in the head b4 they die = not realism. Ask the dev team and they'll tell u that. FLF is supposed to be about fun which happens to involve realistic looking weapons and locations.

2) Grenades are not pure lose, they have reasonable blast radii and strangely accurate damage by which if one lands next to u u die, but if ur far enough away u don't. Plus u can crouch on em and save your teammates ( oo and gibbing vs falling over and dying = me goes for gibbing for comedy effect )

3) FLF doesn't = spam. Grenade spam if off on BW servers which means that grenades lading in spawn sites are dud Plus the old spammy days of FLF where grens went thru walls ( v.v. silly results) are no longer with us. Sure grens get used a lot more in FLF than in CS but they are nowhere near the major result of kills.

Never played flf, dunno if my stance will change on the issue even if i had.

I ain't gona change my opinion on it as most if not all public team games are unblanced, there's nearly allways there's better players on one or the other side which allways nulls any 'gg' that might creap out at the end, which ever the side im on.

For me a 'gg' will allways remain a balanced game, not just a massive score(which iv'e had many:0) or just taking part in the game.

When you have been fortunate enough be be involved, in a couple of the dm's games where everybody on the server is a div1 player and you come out the game winning by 1 frag in a first to 50 shoot out, and the next 10 places are all decided by the space of 1 frag, then that is a 'gg', and it's why i just don't bother typing it after every game. Iv'e seen the hights, and nothing ill ever see in a tfc/cs/fa public game will ever compare.

I actually take the time to put exactly what I think of the game I just played.
Hence the usual case of me typing "That was complete bollocks" or "Fucking wank game". I sometimes do not enjoy CS because either I'm soooo fucking bad at it or there are half a dozen aimbots on the server.
On the very rare occasions I 0wn then I put the modest "gg" in at the end.

Why do I play?
Habit I suppose. Also no girlfriend anymore.

I'm not at my mates house anymore because they are certifiably insane so I'm in a hostel on 45th Street off Broadway.
