The Hibernian Night Raiders Strike Again!

Take a look on the Excalibur War Room and you will see that Dun Da Behnn and Dun Crimthainn are now in Hibernian hands, having fallen prey to superior Hib tactics. It seems that the Hibs finally wisened up to the farming that has been going on (as well as the supposed "exploiting" of the corpse summoner) and gathered a large enough zerg during the early morning to take down these two venerable Alb keeps. From my sources, Da Behnn was attacked at 04.45 am GMT and taken down 05.06 by 18 brave hibbies, and Crimthainn changed hands sometime between 05.00 and 07.00.

So, in other words, guess my two /transfercorpse macros are going to be unused today (unless we go for Crim again ).

But we will get our Corpse Summoner again... I will make sure of it. Maybe we will go to Midgard this time... they come out in force atleast... not some overpowered scared pussies they are

And if we would take a keep from Mids, they would reclaim it at 5:30 am on a monday morning... during their "prime time"

Shame it took the albs 3 days to take Beno back from the hands of AoP, I remember logging on and going "wtf, we STILL have beno?!!?".

Why, exactly, are you complaining? Are you afraid that the 150 albs who will come back this afternoon will have the slightest difficulty in retaking Crim? It will take about 3 minutes if it's undefended and 5 if it's defended by every hib in the realm. Against the current alb zerg, a midnight keep retake doesn't even qualify as a significant speed bump.

They weren't my actions, I logged off and played battlefield 1942 instead until bedtime. As far as I'm concerned, any hib daft enough to go out into the hib frontier at this point gets exactly what he deserves (twatted by 10fg before he can move).

DAoC isn't war, it's a game. A game is an activity that's supposed to be fun and entertaining for the people who play it. Taking a relic at 5am is stupid because it deprives the people who would have enjoyed defending the chance to do so. Defending a level 10 keep with 120+ and a corpse summoner is stupid because it deprives your opponents of any chance of victory. Since you won't play the game on any sort of terms that will be fun for the rest of the server population, then we'll just pack up our toys and go and play somewhere else.

im glad we got the keeps back but i think its a shame that the keeps had to fall at such late hours
and after the past few days im sure alot of ppl saw this as the only option to retake the keeps

maybe things wont be as bad as this once we get 1.60 i cant see ppl wanting to sit down for 30 mins at a time to get RP when they can release and be back in 10 mins tops.
