" T`was the night before the rebirth. The war was over. The battle should have been with the Celts and the Norse, not between brothers. Many had died in the last year, since Arthur's departure over the sea. Strong fine men, and some of the bravest women that ever walked these fields, were gone, lost forever from the realm of Albion. The survivors were wary, tired of all the skirmishes, uncertain about their future.
But these were a hard folk, descendants of the tribes of old, that lived in Britannia long before a roman had set foot in these shores. Surrender was not in their blood. They gathered together under their battered emblem, under their surviving leaders.
"We ride at sunrise, be prepared" said the scout, as he moved from tent to tent, his voice filled with excitement, for he could not wait for the day to come. Finally the 1st ray of light shone. "Sound our revival. Let friend and foe know we rise again" yelled the Knight. The sacred horns were blown, echoing from Snowdonia to Lyoness.
As they marched towards Castle Sauvage, ready to take the battle to the invaders, they knew their number was not sufficient, and that they would most likely meet their end. But their dream and the memory of Arthur and their fallen comrades kept them marching.
As they marched onwards the men and women, who observed them from the roadside, shouted words of encouragement, and prayed to God for their safety. Many nights after that day, they still told tales to their children and grandchildren, of the day "The Brethren" had returned. The day Red and White shields and capes had shone bright. The day the Gryphon flew again. "
We at The Brethren, hereby announce the beginning of a new Era. It is our desire to fill our diminished ranks with new companions. If you count yourself amongst the bravest and boldest of Albion, if you are one of those that makes things happen instead of waiting for them to fall in your lap, we might be the guild for you.
We are seeking people with a good understanding and communication of English, people that desire to experience all parts of this game and share that same experience with others. From paladins to scouts, from sorcerors to necross, all are welcome to apply.
All you need is a desire to be a part of a Brotherhood, whose aim is to put the needs of the realm ahead of their own, and who have a desire to protect the lives of their kin, sometimes risking their own.
If you are looking for such a challenge, and are keen to join a Guild of like-minded people then get in touch with :-
