the presented suggested the Grand National should be banned (death of horses, over-whipping). What a crock of shite. Long may the National continue. Its a fantastic race. People forget the terrible injuries sustained by all kinds of sports men & women, not to mention deaths, and they hardly make the news, but as soon as an animal is hurt in sport, everyone goes bananas.

yes only this morning tiger woods was run over and killed by a golf cart, probably won't make the news though.
in fact sporting deaths are very underported, get killed in the winter olympis or in a rally car or in a sauna competition and you,ll be lucky to make the local papers

To be fair can you name me another sproting event, or even race in horse racing that brings about more Horse deaths every year? I like the race but anyone witha brain can see the fences are fucking suicidal.
