In preparation fo the coming release of patch 1.54 and the new duel command Nemesis is proud to bring you the first ever Grand Tournement! The Tournment will take place on the first saturday after the release of the patch and consist of the followig format.
Each of Midgards frontier keeps will be designated as a Dueling Arena for the day. To allow for plenty of supporters to cheer on there friends who will do battle in the courtyard below. Each keep will hold the contest of each of midgards 7 classes. For example Runemaster will do Battle in Bledmeer, Shadowblades in Nottmoor and so forth.
All applicants wishing to take part in the Tournement must apply in writing to Durgidaoc@yahoo.co.uk stating the name of your character, your class and level, no later than the release of patch 1.54. No applicant applying after this date will be admitted.
They style of the tournement will go as follows. A Straight forward progressional knock out tournement, defeat your oppenant and progress to the next round.
Rules of Engagement:
To grant a reasonably even playing field NO BUFFBOT will be allowed. You may only utilise buffs and enhancements your character itself can obtain. Outside interference of any kind will result in the disqualification of the offender. Also as this is a tournement of skill and honour. The use of the realm ability Ignore Pain is also banned. Though First Aid is acceptable, as it is merely like carrying a totem. The Marshel for the tornement will call both combatants for the duel into the arena.. and upon their degree to begin may the best man win.
Once all has been dealt with and one remains standing our realm we cheer in unison as the First Asgard of Midgard are crown.
Level catagories and entrant fees are as follows:
Levels 20 - 24 = 20g
Levels 25 - 30 = 40g
Levels 31 - 39 = 60g
Levels 40 - 45 = 120g
Levels 46 - 50 = 200g
All proceeds from this event will as usual be added to the Nemesis Realm Fund.
More dedicated details of dates and Arena Schedules will be posted as soon as a firm date for release of patch 1.54 is announced. Remember apply early to durgidaoc@yahoo.co.uk with the name of the character you wish to use what Class Tournement you wish to enter. To allow people to enter deferent tournement with different characters the duels will be staggered throughout the day.
