The funniest wind up ever !!

lol guys hes gonna hate me for saying it but i just have to !

Today ppl in my guild were talking about the dragon and the event TBa ( wind up merchant) thought its be funny to say " oh i heardthat mythic are gonna spawn the dragon in a random place where its gonna start killing ppl tongiht > to which a gullable ns in our guild called ryushiun murasame fell for it and msged tba to say that he was going to go hide in CM .

We found this really funny adn started to play on this and turn it into a wind up > each of us playing off each others wind ups and poor ryushin was completley suckered into it

we then told him that the dragon spawn was confirmed at 7pm gmt this evening > and the only way it could be stopped was if each guild sent a emissary to dagda and found the lord there > towhich thye go to the lord and ask for his divine help > then when the last guild does it the dragon goes away

well we asked ryushin to go > and a bard who was in on the joke pretended to be shocked and met ryushin ( who suicided from his xp group at abysmals to get out ) joinedhim and sped to dagda > heavily exited that he was going to save hibernia

.. oh how we laughed ( i am really sorry ryu )

i got some tells from memebers of his xp group asking what i was doing , so i let them in on it and they told him theyd already been there and goaded him on , he was frantically running to dagda at this point and it was 6 .55

atthe stroke of 7 , he was in dagda but couldnt find the lord ( wed told him the lord was diguised as a guard and only right clickin on him would reveal him ) and i got some lowbie to msg him saying that the dragon had spawned in spragden , to which he says this to guild and starts apologising for not being fast enough

this whole wind up was ended by TBA announcing in /gu that ryushin had been part of a big wind up that we just created , Ryyu preceeded to hit the JD and coke and i couldnt stop laughing for ages

I was wondering when this would come out on here.

Ummmm, I was going to think of something to say in my defence, but there really isn't a lot to say. I fell for it because I wanted to believe that there really would be a dragon running round Hibernia for a few hours, tearing up the place and generally wreaking havoc.

However, I did look like a complete fool running around Dagda relic room yelling "help!!! For the love of God HELP!!!!!" at the guards, then wondering why I didn't get a single response, in the way that only a very psyched up elf NS who thinks that he is doing something useful for the first time ever!

To all the people that played their parts - /salute, you did tremendously well, really!

And Arakiel, I don't hate you, it'll take me at least 3 months of allowing my hurt pride to fester into a blinding mist of hatred before that happens! Besides, elves don't hold grudges, unless you spit in my JD & coke, then I'll have to kill ya

Banny and Harleydave, thank you for trying to stop me from charging the Abysmals. As I was sat on the horse, heading towards DC, I wondered why you had both insisted that I use the floor crack!!

I'm certain that the nice folks from my guild will be putting the /gu log up on here soon, and I'm equally certain that all will find it blindingly funny when they read it.

But I guess that the most important thing is this: I did see the funny side of it (after a few large JD's anyway! ) and although I don't like the idea of running between CM, DL and Dagda on a regular basis, this was a worthy occasion.

P.S. Do it again, and I'll /duel every one of you!

He went to tnn and the dragon msg pop'd up, so he asked what it was about..

To which I reply'd.. Oh that's the msg u get when the dragon want to 1v1 dual u.

me : I said NE of Tir Urphost

Lerosbeef : ok i'm gonna go duel the dragon.. What does he con to lvl 43?

At this point another guildy said they'd go and watch

at this point i laffed to much and told him teh truth..
