I've been amazed by the number of utterly pointless strikes I've seen since I moved to Ireland. The fucking taxi drivers (yes, the self-employed taxi drivers) are on strike next. Apparently they're upset because there are too many of them. Ever heard of the laws of supply and demand guys? Fucking idiots.

well the government have been handing out the licences as if they were candy, so I can almost see the reason why some of the older drivers are pissed. Offcourse drivers are not entitled to unemployment benifits.

The best strike so far was of civil servants on a saturday..
