Gamah said:I don't play "for" the buzz, never said I did, I've actaully changed sites now to Pokerheaven, A lot less fish than on pkr.com
ECA said:It doesn't matter, you shouldnt be playing at a level where you get a rush in any situation - I do get enjoyment out of the game, but its not on a hand to hand basis, its contentment/satisfaction of having played well regardless of results - nicer when you win though![]()
Calaen said:if you are telling me that you are playing a hand and on the river comes a card that you know will not let anyone beat you and someone before you goes all in and you dont get a rush you are a robot.
ECA said:Sorry cal, I just dont.
If you get excited about winning a hand you get irritated about losing a hand, you really have to adjust your mindset and get your enjoyment from making correct decisions rather than the outcome of a hand.
If I played it well and lost then fine, if I played it well and won thats fine, because in the long run I'm going to get your money whatever the % of the hand was and your going to get it whatever your % was, as long as I made the correct play in the hand that is good enough.
If I played it badly and won I'm angry with myself and if I played it badly and lost I'm angry with myself - because if I make that mistake again I'm costing myself money in the long run regardless of the short term outcome.
Lester said:Thanks Gamah, I can't play now as I'm off oot. But a question that occurs to me is this:
If you win some money, does it matter that you haven't set up your real money account?

Skyler said:If you check in the game it will also say "1d10h23m" or something until registration.. so you can always deduce the time accurately like that.
