i tried those nut things the other night. we had a taster evening as we just opened a new store. i ate a fucking shit load. you tried the little caramel short cake squares? must of had about 20 of them. the schlogaten chocolate or what ever it is, is almost too nice. and the praline shells are pure dirt.

not sure about the rest of the country, but at the lidls im at as of tomorrow we are selling fox crunch creams 30p a pack down from 89p. might be worth checking if you have them.

And Pepsi, Max, Diet, 7up and more all 50p for 2 litres! :D Lidl celebrating 15 years in the UK this week and they have some great deals on.

Yep had all the above tris and they rock, love the caramel shortcake :)

That is a shock, I shall have a look next time I go to Moggies and report back :p

You should ask your local corner shop if they ever see it down the cash and carry, to get you a case in. Or send emails to Tesco and Asda asking them.

Asda are probably going to be a better bet, as they are run by an American company.

I get it from an american candy shop when i fancy some dew. At £1.35 a can its not cheap, but its worth it. I've never seen it for sale in any of the major supermarkets.

Quality Save carry it every now and then, I am not sure if they operate outside the northwest of England though. Was 35p a can when I last saw it.

Fuckin A!

At Lidl you can buy the Mister Choc M&M ripoffs 250g for 99p and the taste every bit as good. Their Milky Way and Bounty clones are better than the originals imho but half the price.

Have to agree with the bounty clones, cheap as a hooker in Azerbaijan(20 for 2e i think) and they are so much more coconutty good :D

Also their cola, which is cheap all the time, tastes a lot better then regular coke.(light coke for me, but same deal i bet).

What i really miss is ghostbusters chocolate bars in the 80s-90s(fingers i think). I never found anything that tasted as yummy :(

It's all in the filling i bet.

Would have to grab a converter, but most likely around those parts.

You bastard :p

Cheap cola is shit :<

More times then not, it's not :D

Though nothing beats the soothing, sweet taste of pepsi max...but when faced with a choice of "4 litre for 2e" or "1.5 litre for 2.5e", it comes rather easy :(

Quality over quantitiy mate.

Would you rather have 1 poub of potatos or 15 pounds of shit, for the same price obviously.

The thing with cheap products is that often they are A; better and B; done from the same stuff then the branded stuff.

For example Lidl, many high brand producers produce the Lidl stuff from the same ingredients.

With 15 pounds of shit, i could sell it to a farmer and get 3 poubs of potatoes from him

I know a lot of the brands are, but things like coke and pepsi, you can tell the difference.

Crisps and chocolate from lidl are quite nice too, but I prefer proper coke/pepsi to drink. Things like lemonade or dandelion and burdock are fine too.

That's true, you can tell a difference with the coke, but then it comes down to taste.

I for one prefer the lidl coke(light) taste over the coca-cola brand, simply due to coca-cola tasting so herby.

Aldi diet lemonade, much better than Schweppes, same goes for Morrisons own brand. Both 39p a bottle.

I agree with the coke but the gap is nowhere as big as it used to be, Lidl's is quite a pleasent drink and you get 2ltrs for the price of 1 can of coca cola.

it was the 6 pack of cans rather than bottles. not sure how many it was, a fair few 100!

im guessing it was £1 for a 6 pack pepsi, costing £320.

320 boxes * 6 = 1920 cans!

apparently most stuff is cheaper at lidl than the cash and carry after including vat.

its some mad shit when you can buy 2l of pepsi for 50p but in your local newsagent its £1 for 500ml!

Indeed. I guess buying 200 million bottles affords you amazing discounts, Lidl and Aldi are fucking monsters globally, especially Aldi.

eating my 15p corn on the cob as we speak, awesemo.
thad, the F+V is probably a shit load cheaper and it comes in everynight to be put out in the morning. although some stuff is ordered by the metric shit tonne and lasts a few days in storage, like carrots atm.

I have already been on that Chod, atm they don't have any firm retailers, they're still in the sampling phase (you know, those people in supermarkets etc. trying to force feed you stuff) to consider market entrance.

Thanks though bud for looking! :)
