ALthough I can't help but feel it was just a racing incident in this case. The Mclaren really isn't doing that well, the big upgrades due at Silverstone haven't really done much at all.
Maldonados fault again I'm afraid - watch the replay, he couldn't turn it into the corner and slid into Perez. He's a useless twat that needs a good Ide'ing (kudos to people that knows what that means)
Three reprimands and you get a 10 place grid drop, imo he deserved a reprimand for the Hamilton incident - this was more close racing and his tyres slid a little and it was more a racing incident.
He should be on two reprimands this season already imo.
He should have been given a good ide'ing last year for his 2 *deliberate* shunts. I want the stupid faced twat out of F1, but I think that's already clear.
Vettel was the slower car there. Hamilton has a race to worry about and if he is quicker then Vettel then just tough luck. Hell considering they instantly complained to the FIA and nothing happened then there was nothing wrong with what happened. The blue flag is basically a "let the faster car past" signal. If you not faster then you shouldnt get it, simple as!
Glad the stewards dished out a 20 sec penalty on Vettel for that overtake - I don't like it when they just do penalties for the next race as it sirupts the result and points placing... not that JB is really in the running anymore
Had to be done because he was doing something wrong, made no attempt to correct it and needed to keep it consistent, therefore clearly a penalty of 1 place would have not been appropriate. Vettel didn't have his head screwed on at all that race, he was a bit of a prat from start to finish. Perhaps a bit too much pressure on himself at his home GP.
If all that happens when you get caught making an illegal move is that you lose your gain it makes sense to try and cheat at every opportunity as the worst that happens is you go back to where you were. There has to be a harsher punishment than just swapping the place back.
Well played Lewis, dull race though! Maldololdo in another incident, how long before the penalties start getting more severe??
Yet again, the Mc pitstops were lacking in places, they were just lucky that Grosjean's was even slower this time around. What a drive from Kimi as well, he's obviously not lost his mojo for being away for so long.
when raikonnen came screaming out of the pits and was wheel to wheel with grosjean going into the corner I bet the entire team head their eyes closed and their fingers in their ears. I thought they were going to wipe each other out.
He can lie all he wants, we saw him see it, we saw it was shit driving.... and the good news is we wont see him next week as they banned him for a race
And omfg... grosjean - 7 first lap accidents he has been involved in so far in the 12 races of the season! No wonder they didnt try to mitigate the penalty and just accepting it.
