Huh, should really have remembered that; that was the year I actually went to more than one race (Spa, Silverstone and Brands hatch).

BBC are pissing me off with their news coverage atm. Maldonado this, Maldonado that. He's going to win more races, he's going for the championship, his maturity is really paying divide... WHAT? MATURITY? Clearly they're watching the wrong sport. Maldonado is a talentless twat that won in gifted circumstances, and one of the most childish pricks on the circuit, even more so than Hamilton (on bad days) and Alonso.

Great stuff from Hamilton, it's about time he was on top of the podium again. Even though they still seem to make mistakes under pressure in the pitlane, luckily it didn't cost them this time.

It must've been horrible for Vettel and Alonso, knowing that they had made the wrong choice and were being reeled in extremely quickly by a flying Lewis. :D

Great drives also from Grosjean and Perez to make those tyres last as long as they did (52 laps for Grosjean I think?) and then still be able to attack at the end.

Red Bull and Ferrari should have responded to Hamiltons pit straight away. Grosjean and Perez were still flying after 50+ laps on the same tyres, two very good drives from them!

Yeah, he broke 2 vertebra. I hope he's not off the Sky coverage too long, he's good value with the analyses (although I don't really rate him as the "main" commentator on the GP2 events). Get well soon etc. :(

Brother in law works for Lotus, decent bonus coming his way. Shame Grosjean went out with an alternator problem.

Well, cracking race - an odd thing to say for Valencia, however it was only any good because of crashes. Vergne who's probably looking at the sack, McLaren - jesus, fix your pitstops! How many times? Mr Potato Head cunting Lewis at the end there and then having the brass balls to blame him for it entirely (what a twat). If Raikkonen was going to struggling passing Hamilton then Maldonado would have shat his pants just seeing his rear wing. Which is probably what caused it in teh first place.
A finishing grid born entirely of luck. Deserving winner though.

Yeah cna't argue with any of that. As much as i dislike Alonso he deserved the win. Great stuff from Grosjean as well. As soon as I saw Kimi pass Lewis and saw how he was struggling for grip there was just no way it was going to end well when Wankonado caught up to him. He's just a fucking idiot.

And yeah, McLaren. Fix. Your. FUCKING. Pitstops.

Been too hooked on football and tennis. I'm not sure how but WTF how did he win? It was a bit surreal.

One of the best races of Alonso I've seen (with the natural dose of luck too).

And I fancy Valencia track. Its gorgeous to watch with an helicopter camera, reminds me to the IndyCar city tracks like Miami.

The last time I camped at Silverstone (fuck me, 26 years ago!) it was like this. Our tent literally sank; we came back to it and only the top foot or so was visible, the rest had gone into a swamp. We kipped in the car (which was also axle deep).

Indeed, Perez certainly didn't mince his words afterwards. I wonder if they'll do anything more serious than a grid penalty or whatever. It's hardly like it's the first time.
