The Experiment Game 2 - Sign-ups.

Now that the testing gae is nearing end(ish), depending ofcourse, and i think i'll be able to iron out a few "bugs" from it, i think it's time to get people to sign up if they want.

This time i'm making it free of player limitations, will see what to do with the amount of people ofcourse(special? ), but sing up if you're interested.

It will differ from the tester game a bit, but basically stay the same, new add-ons etc upcoming

Check down the threads, the Experiment game is running there. It's a mafia game style(meaning forums) game of my own cooking

First come first serve sign-ups ofcourse but next game should have room for all.

By the by, this will not remove the mafia games(if i start running them) and there's no limitation to people joining this sign-up if they are in the mafia game or my previous one.

And yes, due respect for Iceforge as he brought the mafia game to OT and it did inspire me to create this.

Really liked the other game, until Golena shoot me!!!

Not signing up, due to probarly not being around to finish it... like how it is severely SAW themed, atleast to me it felt like the SAW movies

Aye, aye. It's a feedback pre-alpha game

Was expecting and hoping you in it just because of those.

SAW theme was an influence, especially in the start game, who knows where it'll go. It's a very open concept still. Have to send you the "technical moderation" stuff sometime.

I knew I had seen it on here some time before, where I was totally confused as to what it was, then I read the entire FAQ at mafiascum.net which helped a lot

yeah, hope nobody believes I made it up or anything, some brilliant russian guy who made it, for real playing between students at a university at which he was a professor.
Really shows how an informed minority is so much more powerfull than an uninformed majority in many cases.

One cool game is assasin if you can get a few people on campus to play it, it can be amazing fun! Best game I ever played tbh, killing someone after they came out of the toilet with a folded up umbrella was so funny

First off, sorry to Tohtori for hijacking his thread

Ever played Assassin on forums then?

Rules quite simple, you need 1 moderator for it.

Sign-ups all go through PMs, revealing to be part of the game instantly kills you.

The moderator makes a list randomly with the names of those who signed up for the game.

Short list:
A
B
C

Then he sends out to each player their target, which is the one below them on the list, last on the list get the first target, so A gets B, B gets C and C gets A.

To assasinate your target, you have to squese a post by your target inbetween 2 of your posts.
Double posts count as one, so posting 2 or 3 times in a row does not make one immune to being sandwishes between posts by another player.
One is not allowed to make posts that specificly is directed towards ones target.
When you get your target assassinated, you send that information to the moderator + a link to the post.
The moderator then replies in the assassin game thread that player X has died in the hands of an assassin. So if A kills B, B gets announced dead by assassin and then A gets a PM with his new target: C.

Game ends in 1 of 2 ways: Either it ends when 1 single player is left alive.
or it ends when there is 2 players left alive (to avoid it being a "who is quickest" kind of situation with 2 players targetting each other, and then winner is the one of the 2 with the most kills.

Not posting in X number of days also gets you disqualified from the game, where X can be anywhere from 2 days to 7 days, depending on how long a game people are up for playing.

Can be great fun

Plenty. Only 3 signed up if i count you, Iceforge i doubt will make through another one(depends ofcourse).

I could fit Iceforge in, and then get a replacement, but...bit iffy.

Oh yeah and this will be a different game, sort of, so don't expect to land in the same room for produce value
