Hehe I thought he hit alot of home truths, but he does conveniently miss out the good parts...of single player.

There's some truth to it, but then again, starting a review with no knowledge of previous installments and the power of "continuing the saga" is a bad f*cking idea.

It's like watching the return of the jedi and saying "I don't know what the f*ck is going on!" Ofcourse you don't.

He has a lot of good points, but it does shine through that he's made his mind before he even opened the box, based on the hype given to the game. Which i do often too, and it effected his review a bit.

Much like using parts of the review talking about things that were "nice and new" in halo 1. Like the vehicle. Or the guns. Or the aliens...or...anything really.

I'm not defending Halo 3, i've always thought of the Halo series as "fun" and "nice" and "something to pass time with", but always got a bit bored after i first spent 8 hours whacking about and shooting stuff.

And that's what Halo basically is, really good sex. It's so good that it jams you in place for a while, but once you get out, it takes a while to get back in.

Funny review as always

I played Halo last night, campaign co-op with my mate and i forgot how much fun it was being able to do proper flanks on the enemy in massive tanks etc

It def is a very enjoyable game, much less frustrating than say Call of Duty

I would suggest watching the Bioshock review. He loves that game, but he makes a very good comment "no one likes it when i make nice/praising comments, so i'll get that out the way first".

I love the comment regarding Bioshock and hacking "or should i say, plumbing".

I think you are 100% correct regarding "made his mind before he even opened the box" comment.

personally I don't really care about the games he review, as I won't play any of them anyhow... I like the way he does them, find them to be bloody great :)

I think most of it is the picture/word association.

Without the video, he'd sound like a rather big...
