I was very annoyed to see people saying all this shit, so i went kinda crazy... but i had every right to flame!

Those people who you said i "Insulted" well, i was really mad and think they trying to make things worse i think i maybe have went OTT... but after that crap i think its justified.

Thanks Enigma for being smart enough to know what I was about.

Kain, I'm still around for the moment, and plan to be for the forseeable future, I just can't give up the gold and purple look ;)

One thing I have taken the time to do in this turmoil is disband my healer and create a little guild called Rezz Inc with some RL friends who fancied healer alts :) Just farming the gold for the emblem although my level 24 is the only one who's high enough to wear it so far ;) We're hoping to go for the highest RP 4 person guild on Prydwen when 1.56 comes in ;)

Keep digging. So you stuck up for some friends even though they have made a mistake and upset people. I admire your loyalty

Now back to the bigger picture. I would suggest now hellskor knows the facts he changes the title of the thread. It doesnt help EoO rebuild itself.

After reading this post, and reading over every one of said retards posts I'm gonna leave it up to you.

I particularly like his last post. Heh.

I don’t begrudge people for trying new thing and I hope that healer squad goes well, it’s just this mass exodus was a little too well planned. I’m just a little mad people decided to move on in mass force instead of taking the effort to reform.

Think back to when EoO was thriving, the Grizlas days… Could have been like that with a few hard choices. But what’s done is done we’ll see how things go from here.

As an ex-Eye of Odin member, I wish you all the best of luck.

I've been waiting for a time to share these screen shots. I was in Eye of Odin for 3 hours and left because, well, you can see why. Regardless, best of luck again to all involved in the split!

Here's me modelling my brand new guild look (bit of a fad at the time):

And here are two of the original culprits for an incredibly dominant guild:

Flame away. Your posts degrades more into insults the more angry you get (Well I hope you can use the excuse of anger for it.) That said I dont think you have posted anything that is relevant to the title of this thread in the first place. Maybe now you can read your posts and understand that when people get angry that it doesnt bring out the best in them.

I dont know Taggert and wont judge him on this post. He is angry
because the post is untrue. I think most people would be. Like you were about Dragon Senate. You even needed to edit your response to me. Apologies I had already requoted it.

I'm not the hypocrite in complaining about flames , insults and profanities here. You have done 2 out of 3 that you have complained of. What saddens me you dindt look at the cause only that " good friends" were being flamed.

You obviously like the last word so feel free. This retard is signing out as I have made my points about this thread and your initial verbose and insightful reply oh so intelligent one :puke:

You have to take into account a mans guild is being slowing drained of life and powerless to stop it, in this case I would allow the swearing (i'm finding it hard not to, will probably fail soon).

fyi : I was still around after the guild-meeting where we tried to change the course of EoO and didn't log nor quit the guild straight afterward.

I led myself a Guild-hunt to get the people together again, a chance for them to SHOW that they want to keep the guild going.
Not even half of the ones online showed up.

The only person that actually did try to stop the downfall and offered to take charge just got flamed and bitched at by a few people. Therefor left a few hours after the meeting.

Sorry to say that, but the old EoO as it was known IS dead.

Eye of Odin might be considered a closed book for some, for others this might just be the beginning of a new chapter.

We are decimated in numbers and strength. We are facing a greater enemy then we ever have before, but we won't give up. We'll fight to the last man. For our realm. For our friends. For our guild.

One day when we have put our swords aside, and sits down by the camp fire to talk old memories, maybe I'll just tell you the story about Eye of Odin. From the beginning... to the end...

Perhaps certain ppl who would like to see EOO dead are those who owe money to the guild for all the crafting funds handed out in the past.
Hopefully those same ppl will do the honourable thing and hand it over to the relic door fund or similar.

Perhaps certain people should've shown more respect to the guild and the ones that tried to keep it together.

Not just spoiling every attempt made without coming up with an own solution.
Not wandering off to do their own little thing while the rest of the guild tried to get something going again together.

Think about your own actions Malenka.

I wonder.. which is which? ;)

Anyhow, in your later post you were saddened by people who left not being willing to reform. Perhaps even reform into something you so kindly choose to pronounce l33t?

Reforming, even just holding together something closely resembling a flock of hungry seagulls is a task I would not wish on anyone.

Ottar

I was just commenting on that one of the new guilds seems to be based around Ottar... If the guild went down that path then I would leave as would most of the remaining loyal members. I was by no means saying we should reform to be l33t (or how ever it's written).

But the whole flock of seagulls thing, theres a certain effect on a guild when all the leadership from that guild do a runner over night. Some what freaks the members out wouldn't you say, and Like sheep many leave...

Officer 1: Thats it I'm leaving
Officer 2: Wait for me
Officers 3-7: *wanders off*
Sheep 1: BAAAAA wait for me
Sheep 2: BAAA BAAAA whats this we're doomed... doomed I say, we're no longer all bloody powerful, panic panic arrrr run away.
Sheep 3: I'm going to hide behind the uber people, whats this... I'm expected to help my guild? bye bye...

ect....

But I don't want to bitch anymore... To much to be done.

Can hardly believe the bs written in some posts, meaning the ones from people not even in EoO (and some by people who didn't join until recently). When Hellskor posted the initial thread, he was absolutely right imo. After all he has been in eoo for quite a while, and was fully aware of the problems in the guild. Maybe EoO isn't officially dead, but hey, Disco isn't either. What he meant was that the EoO from the early days has vanished completely.

I also noticed some posts of people who are still in EoO and are commenting on those who left... not much to say about this, although I'd like to remark that most leavers have put more time & effort in the guild than all of you together...And saying that a lot left just because others did is completely bs. Don't think anyone just left without giving it some thought.

And especially your post bothers me Snoz: you critisizing people who built up the guild from the start, although you haven't been in it until rather recently. You should get your facts straight before posting that stuff, when you aren't aware of the "behind-the-scenes info" you have no right to do so imo...

Member#23: ... <- anyone said anything ?
Member#24: ... <- What ? You want me to do something ?
Member#25: ... <- Service to the guild ? pfft, gonna do my own lil' thing
Member#26: ... <- I only wanted an Emblem and a chance on uber-loot and exp from hunts ...
Member#27-40: ... <- ...

actually onslaught is based around the people who used to hang around in odins gate.we've allways been kind of a ceperate group off people in EoO who liked frontier defence more then emain rvr or PvE.and the idea to form this guild came from me and noita even before blej announced bad omen.it was never the intention to have this many old EoO's in our ranks and we haven't been activlly recruiting in EoO either because imo it isn't fair to the people who want to keep EoO allive.but alot off people left and started contact us because they liked the idea of onslaught or just were looking for a new home.

Its a shame that the guild's top blokes have left, this is true, but it's also true that there are a fair number of us left that want to keep the guild alive and make it work...

I admit to not being privy to the behind-the scenes politics, and I am sure that most of the members that have left gave it a lot of thought, its no easy thing to dump a guild that has been home for sooo long, so I suspect that the leavers had good reason to move on...

I would like to say that there are still dedicated members that are willing and able to run a cool guild and make it a fun place to be... I just hope that this mass exodus by the original core of EoO and the shouts of "EoO is dead" hasent lowered the reputation or harmed the guilds image in any way....

I dont think that posts stating that EoO as a guild is dead helps us remaining members at all, Hellskors post would perhaps be better titled as "Eye of Odin has high level leadership changes"...

/salute to all the ex members and I wish you all the very best in your new ventures and hope you find what you are seeking....

to the remaining members.... lets get stuck in!!!!!
