If today you gave me a choice between a PS2 and 50 of its top games or a DC and 50 of its top games I would still choose the DC.

I love my DC. I actually have 2 of them. The second one purchased when they dropped in price to £50.

:p

Thats cos the DC has 50 top games. I only have about 6 for my PS2, out of choice largely. (And cos i'm a student with PC hardware to keep up with... :D)

Such a shame it wasn't successful though, I bought mine on launch with Sonic adventure and remember thinking back to when I got my ps1 (also on launch, heh) that the same 'excitement' was around at the time, thought it'd do extremeley well.

Just thinking about it... that £50 deal makes buying a DC cheaper than a GBA... weird, and a bit sad for the DC really...

The DC is a fantastic machine, I'd rather have one over an XBox anyday....

The only reason I'd buy a PS2 is GT3 and MGS2 and perhaps one or two other games...

But there are loads of l33t games on the DC, I love it to bits... Its a quality console made by the kings of console gaming ;)

Now the GC looks set to r0x0r I hope, with Sega working on it it should have some real gems ;)

I was going to buy a GC, but I've heard that Nintendo may lose RARE as a exclusive developer.. now I'm not sure :(

If you stuck a PS2 and DC with each of their top 30 games in front of me and asked me to chose one - I would take the DC.

I will save you the effort Bodhi mate:

Fuck off and die of aids Ono you retard.

Does it really matter?!!

Shit happens in the software industry.

Who would have imagined SEGA developing for Nintendo not long ago?

yeah .. RARE were on a downward slope anyway.. Nintendo will just replace them someone who makes their games on time.

I still have to agree completely. MGS2 really isn't that good either...

Long live the DC :)

I agree also...

PS2 has some good games, but the DC has just as many if not more and its cheaper...

I never wanted a DC tbh. It didn't seem to offer me anything my PSX didn't. And the controller was horrid.

did anyone see

the console sales figures in japan on this website yesterday, i can't remember what sort of period it was for, but it went something like;

80,000 PS2's
7,000 PS1's
2,700 xbox's
and 3,900 DC's

those are just rough figures, but i am almost certain they are accurate...

a dead console is outselling the xbox. lol :p

and the PS1 is seven years old!

still, i am a fan of all consoles... /me proudly pats DC and PS2 under TV, hopefully to be joined by an xbox and a GC later this year...
