As one of the few people who hasn't yet upgraded to a PS2/
X-Box i find myself returning to my Dreamcast and enjoying my wide selection of games.
Am i the only one who finds the dreamcast enjoyable after all this time?
Was it any good in your opinion?
Was there an astoundingly good game on the DC?

Your thoughts and opinions please.

Best Console since the SNES IMHO.

If today you gave me a choice between a PS2 and 50 of its top games or a DC and 50 of its top games I would still choose the DC.

I love my DC. I actually have 2 of them. The second one purchased when they dropped in price to £50.

:p

Well, 3 reasons.

  • 1 In case my older one broke down (it had been playing up). I have over 80 DC games and didn't want to go hunting for a machine no longer sold to play the games;

2 I will get round to play DC link up games when I have time. :p

    3 It was very cheap.

Thanks to the incredible back catalouge of DC games, I'm not upgrading anytime soon. DC is the best console i've ever owned. 'Cept maybe the Megadrive.

There is no point in upgrading to a PS2, if you have a DreamCAST.

DC was great but badly implemented. If Sega has skipped past some of its proprietry design elements it might have faired better, another "great idea" from the Sega camp though.

DC is a class console and is worthy of its place in peoples homes ;)

Its nice and cheap now and with a huge amount of good games available its well worth it....

Heh, I remember my first contact with the DreamCast, I was playing Crazy Taxi on it for about two hours when it arrived at the Scottish Power shop I worked at.

Great fun during a quite late night at work 6 sales staff hugged round the Dreamcast... as people stole stuff from behind our backs :(

Never bought one personally, I'm not a great console fan though I am impressed with me PS2

Sunday night i walked into the pub and standing their in the corner was Virtua Tennis, So i played and played and played (spent all my beer money on it).

The next day i pulled my dreamcast out from under my bed, set it all up and rushed out into the shops to my Virtua Tennis.

To my suprise i could not find a copy any where and the most amount of dreamcast games i found in one shop was 7

why why why have all shops just got rid of all dreamcast games ???

I'm GUTTED :(
