Xtro, the game server is ok, but you will find more experienced players at blueyonder. They have 3 servers. Look for me there, Tom[BYNS].

NS is a difficult game to get into, I suggest you ask people in the game how to do stuff, but basically:

Marines win game by killing all alien hives (aliens spawn from hives)
Aliens win game by killing all marine infantry portals and marines

Don't try commanding until you understand whats going on. You are given a default weapon, you can only get another one if the commander decides you can have one, and he can only do that if hes doing enough research and has enough resources.
