Personally I thought it was pretty good, some great performances especially from Nicholson (as you would expect) and a very good performance from Dicaprio to I thought.
Damon however let the film down I reckon, I don't think he really pulled off the bad guy role very well, having said that I still think it stands up very well against Infernal Affairs and is probably in my top 3 of movies seen this year so far.

Certainly a very good chance for Scorsese to pick up a few Oscars.

Thought it was excellent. Don't agree about Damon, thought he pulled off the bad guy role very well. Top music as well.

My favourite Scorcese film now. Loved it.

I thought Damon was top notch as the bad guy. I can see him being cast as such in future.

I knew what was coming in the elevator but it still doesn't protect you from the shock. I also think he ended it really well despite popular opinion that it was a copout.

It was certainly a cop out but then in Infernal Affairs you do have the other 2 films to carry on the story, I can understand why it was done but I think the original ending is better, it could be worse though he could have allowed DiCaprio to live and I did enjoy seeing Marky Mark blow Damon away

prefer IA over this remake tbh, nice cast but IA was better, IA had one film carrying the story while the other was prequel.

What a great film. Enjoyed it lots, particularly Jack Nicholson's performance.

Disappointed in the number of people at the cinema laughing at the lift scene though. Have people become so desensitised to extreme violence that they think its funny?

I think the lift scene was just going too far really, that's when i thought "this is getting silly"

I liked it, it was "good", but it was 45 minutes too long for me. That said, some fucking funny lines, laugh out loud moments and good performances all round from a good cast.
