NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Fixed a bug introduced in 1.70 where damage variance against monster targets wasn't always working correctly. This was most noticeable on Albion double speccing classes, which could leave their secondary skill at 1 without any damage variance.

- (Bug Fix) Polearms and two handed weapons in Albion set to an elemental damage type will now make the correct secondary skill check. Previously these weapons were ignoring this check when determining damage, allowing unspecced players to use these weapons as effectively as specced players.

- Monsters being attacked by multiple casters using area of effect spells will no longer share aggro among the casters' group, but will instead treat them as regular spells.



NEW FRONTIERS NOTES

- Postern doors have been added to the outer walls of all frontier keeps. Previously the six island keeps had no postern doors and the other keeps only had the doors at the highest levels. These doors should now be in use from the first visible upgrade of the keep walls (level 2 to 4 depending on the keep).

- Postern doors have been added to all towers in the frontiers. These will be in use from the first visual upgrade of the towers (levels 4-10).

- The recall feature has been changed to work off of a 3 minute timer instead of resurrection sickness. Once you recall, you now need to wait three minutes to rebind to the keep lord or tower captain.

- Enemies will no longer get teleported out of a taken keep or tower.

- The 175 unit upward limit for turrets casting on their targets has been removed. Please note that this restriction removal does not change the caster's upward limit.

- While tracking a target, a piece of ranged siege will now lose that target if it goes under water, stealths, or goes out of range. Direct fire weapons, such as ballistas and pallintones, will also lose target if the target is a player or monster and goes out of line of sight. When a siege engine loses its target in this way, the siege ceases tracking and has its target set at the last known location of the target it was tracking (so, if you are quick, you may still be able to damage the target).

- (Pendragon Only) Players are no longer worth money for being killed to people who have just killed them recently.


Monster Notes

- The accursed hounds in the Passage of Conflict are now classified as animals.



CLASSIC CAMELOT WORLD NOTES

Albion

- Camelot - Alchemist Kael has been renamed to Master Kael since he sells both spellcrafting and alchemy supplies.



COOPERATIVE & PVP SERVER NOTES

- Master Kaldaran, Malandra, and Stor Gothi Sedirane will now correctly take New Frontiers portal scrolls. Master Kaldaran will also now take Camelot portal scrolls. These three NPCs should no longer randomly teleport players to Caerwent Marketplace.



TEST SERVER CHANGES

- We have added a Pendragon only NPC, Scrollmaster Yardel, that sells completed artifact scrolls/books for 500 gold pieces. This NPC can be found near the other Pendragon only merchants in Camelot, Jordheim, and Tir na Nog.

Just make this last bit go live please, and just stop releasing patches TY!

The change to aggro from AE spells is most likely exactly what it says: AE spells. Not PBAE spells.

it wont go live.... they have had the same thing with respec stones .. u can buy as many respec stones as u want in Pendragon for summin dft like 5-10silver each ... its just so people can testspecs etc etc easier.... same as pendragon they do have people who solely play on pendragon.. thus aint able to make those groups which can farm the harder scrolls. so i guess they made the scroll merchant to help the pendragon regulers etc.

A PBAE spell is an AE spell centered on the caster (i.e. with no range and no need to target anything). Ranged AE spells have always been subject to the same aggro rules as normal nukes; try this by having an AE caster in a PBAE group, and you will see the AE caster get the aggro super-fast, even if he is doing less damage per mob than the PBAErs (PBAE spreads the aggro among the group). No, I am pretty sure this nerf will affect PBAE exping directly (even if Mid comes out top here since they have AE stun in their PBAE exp groups).

This, coupled with the pet pulling nerf in the previous test patch, might very well spell doom for not only PLing (which is what I suspect Mythic is trying to address), but also normal "traditional" exping.

no...those are completely different stones. you can buy cheap respec stones on pendragon, for like 10c. you are talking about the realm respec stones that came with NF.
