Tries too much to be everything and succeeds in nothing.

Psychological inpending doom movie with character growth, not enough.
Effect movie, not enough.
The kindness of people movie, not enough.

Basically it's like an indecisive kid in a toyshop.

There's too many inconsistencies, like "nothing dies, it just changes" and "we need to kill you" for example and a lot of things i would've done differently.

Had to see it ofcourse, nice to see what the story was about, but all-in-all, without a few nice bits, it's average at best.

Bugger-been wanting to see it, I thought it looked good -might have known it would be pants. Poor little Keanu, i'd look after him and tend to his needs.

The question i want to know, have they cut Gort entirely from the film, i see no mention of it it anywhere.

Most pointless remake ever, hopefully all it will do is make more people go see the first version and bask in it's brilliance.

Two words..

Keanu Reeves

Can't agree more. I can't think of any worse high profile actors at all; lets face it, he only got famous because the ladies like him. I did like him in the matrix though but that was only because the role dictated he had to be bland as hell, like he is in every other film ;)

Keanu ain't bad, this role fit him perfectly.

Just needs roles that fit him, much like, say, elvis would've sucked singing pussy cat dolls :D

Id still like to believe given a bit or artistic freedom he could make any of they're songs better! :)

Remakes are never good movies. But they are still worth a watch imo! Im sure there will be a remake someday that will be better than the original :)

Btw, anyone saw the original lotro movie? :D

Aye, i myself fell for the "hype" trains propaganda and splurting out of visuals extravaganza, only to be anally intruded by a 10 foot pole of mediocrity and stiffness.

Ok, well maybe only a 3 foot pole, but still very uncomfortable.

Only reassures my point of view on hype correlating overall "tits up-ness".
