:D 1366x768 with x8aaQ and 16AF looks killer on my 50inch HDTV, would dearly love a 1080p screen of the same size or bigger though.

Off topic but I do wish Nvidia would sort thier bloody drivers out, the HDTV support seems to get broken in every other version and the custom resolution support wasn't working properly in the last 2 versions either. :(

Aye, i currently have a 1950xtx runnning on the machine plugged into the TV via DVI->VGA
You could try powerstrip or something similar to force the resolutions

If my penis was 20" i'd need 1600x 1050 to see it in all it's glory!

luckily it's only 1" so I can still use 640x480

I heard somewhere the nvidia 9 series (or G92 i believe it is called) is due for release around november? Might be worth waiting for any info on that, as i'm sure 8 series prices will go down significantly as a result.

They are low/mid range cards,
the GTX/Ultra are still going to be kings in the nvidia market,
the wildcard being how ati's offering fares against he giants

Gam: That monitor has a sexy refresh time ><

im talking like, ghetto budget respectable

Is your current CPU Socket 939? If so you could grab a dual core 939 based X2 CPU pretty cheap, then stick an extra gigabyte of RAM in your system and an 8800 320mb GTS gfx card. Bob's your uncle, you have a decent gaming system again for under £300.

take a look on ebuyer, really are the best for looking at stuff, then shop around other places, dabs, overclockers etc for better prices and service.
