Ok I am gonna start on this. I am sorry to the mods for my frustration on this matter. But when it particularly affects me and my creative work that I work hard on and post here for free. And then for someone to delete it really gets up my nose. I meant to bring this up earlier. Everything else seems acceptable in context save that word.
For the past few months I have been writing stuff in the creative section that highlights feminism in some shape or form. Their rights, their woes and difficulties in life. Some people have said my work is just down right misogynistic and the bare truth is that they haven't understood what I am trying to convey. Yet I daren't now post anything that has the C word in it because I am gonna get modded - boohoo
It's not even as though the mod has even looked at the context of my work and why it was used. Simply I used it and therefore it has be deleted. Sorry, genitalia is genitalia. Twat, minge, you name it I've seen it. I really don't see the problem with the C word as opposed to something racist. If the C word is used in a derogatory way that in a context is defamatory to women, then sure it should be censored or at least publicly denounced. But when it comes to my work or it being colloquially used, then I am sorry, that's a mod too far. We have free speech in this country. You should adhere to that mandate.
I know women don't like the C word, but there's many words that I don't like being used either. I don't like some of the behaviour on these forums either. I censor it by refusing to read any more of it. I am not a child and most of the people here are not either.
I am not saying that TDC is doing it, me and him have had conversations about my work that have on the whole been quite productive. But when you have a poll saying that the C word is to be banned until a certain date when you have already modded my work, it really gets up my nose
