AAAAAHHHHHHHH never watch this before going to bed! Even if you're not keen on the slightly predictable plot, Amy Smart is so damn hot!

Hat off to the director, The Butterfly Effect is what Donnie Darko should have been really. Pseudo-wannabe-intellectuals may argue that I just don't "get" DD, but at the end of the day any film that you have to go away and read about is really asking too much of the viewer.

Anyway. The Butterfly Effect. Very cool. :worthy:

There's a great difference between enjoying a film (which I did), and understanding exactly why there's a fucking clown standing in the middle of the road with his eye cut out (which I didn't). It's a contradiction to presume that someone's intellect could prevent them from enjoying something.

thing is with Donnie Darko is that it leaves alot of stuff open, how and why is the bunny visiting him, how can Donnie go back in time (at the end). The film itself doesnt give you an answer to this, off course you dont need to know this. But that means you are left with questions, all the information of how and why in the butterfly effect is in the movie itself so you dont need to go check the main site out or fansites for extra information to know how it all happened.
