Help! I can't get Tribes to work any more. It was working, then for no reason, stopped.

I'm no good with blue screens, can anyone decipher this....

A fatal exception 00 occurred at 0028:C1672F08 in VXD WSIPX(01) + 00000B78

Suggestion #1
Go to Network Neighbourhood, right click on it, select "Properties" then remove the IPX protocols from the list of network protocols. Allow the machine to reboot.

Suggestion #2
Uninstall Tribes, then reinstall and patch up to 1.11.

Suggestion #3
Chill out, get a beer, and pour the beer onto the motherboard while the machine is switched on.

Take your pick. I am not responsible for the outcome of any of these suggestions.

Hmm, you don't happen to be using detonator 3 do you? I've seen many vxd errors due to det 6.18. Basically it crashes loads, get 6.26 and you'll be fine. If it's not this then I dunno ;)

Is this actually a complete bluescreen or just Tribes giving a fatal exception then dropping back to windows? There`s a world of difference.
