The best spots to exp for all levels!

Iam in my guild ( legends of camelot raid council ) have given some thought on where the best exp spots are for well functioning groups. We have just started our very modest list. We have mainly focused on baffing mobs but will add non baffing as well. Do you have better spots to pull from? We will add locations and travel descriptions for each site later and post on the forums. Would love some help to do a nice list where the best exp spots in the game are listed.

Important things are quick spawn, fairly safe exp if you have the lvl and a nice group.

Please help add to this list. Give the lvl you need to be, the mobs name and their locations. Thank you!

Another groovewood spawn in Cliffs of Moher near
Urpost .....really nice place and no evil invaders around :)

Kill fins only if at least 1 group member is aggro to that big monkey ... or u'll be REALLY bored (still can't believe how ppl can make 5+ lvls at fins) :)

Lvl 25+ Pookha's at Basar, surely (;

Lvl 35+ Daemhan Aeirs, near siabra archer camp (Silvermine Mountains)

Lvl 35+ Pookas near Innis

Also, Glaze and I (shield tank and warden) used to hunt far darrigs near Innis, just the two of us, around lvl 40. Was very good xp, and not that slow at all.

1+ water beetler collectors and mudmen at ardee.
did someone forget 17+ irewood saplings at dc (think 17+) and young irewoods at the other parth farm after 20.

And darkness falls...20+ ;)

And walking rocks in the valley outside howth, 17+ i belive.

crabs in koalinith, great for pbaoe groups around 20-24 :) the top of koal is also good solo around those levels if you can manage it :)

L45+ fins in CF

thats true to an extent, but as Jozen said, knights in EZ are better exp , and are nowhere near as boring as fins.

But, if you are going to exp on knights, take a back up rez who will log at the scene, because you WILL get scouted, and you will die :)

Thanks guys! I had hoped for quality feedback, and this is the place to visit if you need it. Im not disapointed!

Charonel, that post was really great, but its aimed for soloing characters. There is an even better place to go if you hunt good solo spots: DaoC Catacombs beastiary, as this gives you bonuses for your attacktype/armor as well which does a huge difference!

I was looking for the nice group spots though. The list helps as it gives info on nice mobs. Just have to adjust the lvl and take into account who bafs and give nice extra exp. Well work with the list you found! ( great! ).

I still think getting more feedback from you is nice as that kind of sorts the mobs in the long list to who are really worthwhile!

Id still would like to hear about your favourit spots! :)

well for a void eld, any kind of ghostie is perfect, you almost allways get + damage, so fog wraiths etc...

for rangers it's basically trees and setts once you hit lvl 21 start soloing orange irewood saplings in lough gur, dead easy xp, stick with them until lvl 23/24 then move onto the dampwood mites about ten feet from where you've been xping the last few lvl's :) they drop from 8 to 28 silver per kill adn it's all in coins so no need to sell or carry loot, VAST numbers of them too. i stuck with them till lvl 28 with charonel, i actually get two damn lvl's on green mobs because i wanted my full black set of clothing :) that was harsh.

at lvl 30 if your a ranger solo orange con setts near ligen, they're just up on the hill, go out of ligen in to the gorge, turn right where the trees start and run up the hill, tons of setts up there, but they CFH all the time so be prepared to run, but huge money, easy xp, get on a hill and just rake it in.

irewoods in mount collory are great too, very easy xp, very slow moving, never baf if solo, never CFH, etc...

about grouping for mobs, my two main chars have been a void eldritch and a ranger, so i wouldnt know what to hunt in a group i'm afraid, just look a few levels higher on the solo list than when your soloing, my best advice :)

like i said, nice one, the more info the better, we hibbies need as much help lvling as we can get.

EDIT, irewoods in mount collory drop only cash, and they drop between 20silver and 60silver per kill :) lovely things :D started soloing them at lvl 31 with charonel, but if your a ranger you could probably do it from lvl 30ish.

I think for the mid lvls ur setting the mob to low,,

22+ Pookhas (we was also doing greater zephs and aughiskies)


Up to 10 aim 5 lvls higher
11-20 8 lvls higher
21-30 12 lvls higher
31-40 15 lvls higher
41+ 15-20 lvls higher

Gorge is great (the best) , im there to debuff your mobs. :)

These are all great spots for normal thrown-together groups. What I'd personally be more interesteed in is good hunting spots for PBAoE groups through the levels i.e. mobs that come in 3's. I haven't thought about it too much, but maybe people could add to a list like that?

14+ Parth Farm
17+ Dampwood Mites
20-30 Irewoods in DC/Collory/Innes
40+ Warshades
45+ Knights/Watchers/Ardents
45+ Fins :puke:

Surely there are more...

For PBAOE groups:

25+ Treibh Caillte. Almost everything bafs.
30+ Coruscating Mine upstairs of course.
35+ Black wraiths.
40+ Banshees.
45+ Siabra City.

I'd like to see a lvl13 group killing parths.

As long as they don't have 2 pbaoe-mages they will have lots of wipes, even with pbaoe i think there will be many casualties.
How many hits from a parth can a lvl13 tank take ?

( i'm ready for a test .. my pure mentalism specced ment is at lvl 11 .. should be no prob to have him at 13 soon .. no hibchar can heal better at his lvl)

10+ pbaoe moss sherries not far from CM
22+ pbaoe crabs at Kaolinth caverns
25+ pbaoe group for Irewoods(tall ones),
27+ paboe setts outside dl ore dc.
33+ pbaoe greenbarks at dl
40+ pbaoe banshees in Bog
45+ pbaoe fins
45+ pbaoe knights (2 groups is best)

One important thing my group experianced, you need very large spawns and very fast pops for a good pbae group, otherwise can as well do it the normal messway, since will not be enough mobs to kill anyway :)


dampwood mites near ceanai at lvl 17-22

EZ owns everything at lvl 26-50 (cause of baf, fast spawnrate and large spawns), except for fins.

With dual bubble at lvl 26 we started killing glimmerings at entrance and then worked our way in deeper as we gained levels. Might have to wait few levels more if you don't have 2 wardens.

Nice ideas for PBAE groups ( our first list was aimed primarilly on PBAE groups with 2 pbae and one mentalist :) )
