I don't think you should have to decide. But if I had to, I'd go for New Girl. Old Friend, while it seems like a good idea (I am going out with one myself, known Kirsty for 9 years), the small town thing and lack of travelling will lead to you killing her and burying her under a patio. Tank Girl sounds great and all, but you obviously like New Girl better.

Seriously tho I'd go for NEW GIRL. No offence but Tank girl sounds like a bit of a nugget - getting upset when you see someone else then goes and does exactly the same thing, and life is far too short to faff around with someone who doesn't know what they want. Old friend is probably a better bet, but I'd find out how much of a sticking problem this travel is likely to be. If she's not happy to do it I doubt I'd put dreams of emigrating on hold, although this will depend on how you feel about her at the time you leave. Canadian women are pretty hot anyway (Avril Lavigne is Canadian i think - say no more), and remember, even if all 3 go titsup.com, there are PLENTY more fish in the sea. with new girl you get the fun part of the relationship (getting to know her - catching up is fun, but not as good as getting to know people imo), judging by the time you spent talking to her I'd guess she was pretty compatible and you say she's really hot. Good lord man, what more do you want? You holding out to find out if she swallows?

With old friend there are so many things you would probably have in common, and you have been friends for 16 years - so there isn't a chance of you getting bored of it/her.

Ok so she wont travel - but mabey get her started on a little trip around the UK or something. Come to the scottish highlands or something, nice and remote and some beautiful scenery. Try and take her places where she will be amazed by the views, then convince her when you travel you will see better sights.

Well I've read the thread a couple of times.

update -

After I posted this morning I decided its time for action.

I called Tank Girl up and told her about the other two ladies. I was respectful, talked to her at length and said that I knew she'd got off with this guy (to which she denied everything as I thought she would, but whatever). Told her I wasnt going to see her this weekend and she was very upset, felt a bastard but hmm well she isn't telling me everything so I wasn't THAT sympathetic. I told her plainly - "I don't trust you 100%". That's totally upset her.

I've received a massive email from her this afternoon and she basically wants to try and make things work - she thinks I just told her about the other two to prod her into action. Not my intentions at all...

NEW GIRL - I'm meeting her tomorrow. In daylight and when we aren't pissed heh.

OLD FRIEND - well I'm going to have a loooong serious talk with her this week ASAP and talk frankly to her and air my concerns. I know her well enough to know she won't freak and I can say anything, its no biggie. I also know that I can just become friends with her again and it won't be a problem.

I've been thinking about NEW GIRL and Tank Girl all day to be honest. Then at the back of my mind I'm thinking - you need to fucking talk to OLD FRIEND as soon as possible.

After I've met NEW GIRL tomorrow I'm going to see what I think and go way past the looks and try and reckon if I could actually see myself with her for a long time. I know I definitely could go out with OLD FRIEND for years, maybe that certainty is one of the things that puts me off? I'm an impulsive bastard and don't like being in a rut or wtf but you have to chill sometimes.

Tank Girl is calling me later.

Nearly everyone thinks I should ditch her whatever. Only one small prob - I'm still in love with her. Besides that I agree - she's a kid, I reckon I could adjust to be her mate.

So OLD FRIEND is the runaway winner. NEW GIRL got a few votes tho heh.

By the end of this week I'll have been up front with them all and made a few decisions.

OLD FRIEND has her own clothes designing business btw (somebody asked) - she works from home and sells over t'internet so she could relocate no prob.

Well my mind is made up.

I went out with NEW GIRL last night and had an absolutely STORMING night. Forget her (good) looks - she is fantastic! Funny, witty, blah blah blah, and she dances dirteh haha.

Tank Girl has just been a complete tit lately so balls to her, she's indeed out the window. OLD FRIEND - I've talked to her and I can't see her changing her ways so as we've been mates for years I can't see any problem us just going back to being mates again. I told her this is what I want and she's accepted it (not completely happy but understands).

I decided that NEW GIRL would be the one as she is indeed...new. Completely new, fresh start and all that. I also figured what I think someone said here - that *I* may not indeed be ready for a big relationship (even though I thought I was). So, that being the case, I should have some fun and not damage an old friendship.

As I'm planning on emigrating, if this doesn't turn into something serious then no worries.
